I see lots of positives to going:

a) great networking opportunity - lots of rich fucked up people there
b) have a week or two away from my wife and kids (= holiday)
c) might bump into the odd celebrity

Oh, nearly forgot, I guess there would be some health benefits too.

i known some friends who went through rehab unfortunately once they were out they went right back to drugs...i guess its still good that even though they didnt completely stop they at least took a break

there is a huge difference between real rehab and the shit they make up for the celeb rehab type of shows man. celeb rehab is not real, its reality tv = scripted and fake.

I know pleny of people been through real rehab and it aint no fun. its not filled with celebs nor are there rich people there and most of the people you surely do not want as friends. i know people on methadone right now , multiple friends of mine are lifetime recovering addicts.

I wasn't seriously considering it. I can imagine the type of addicts there, it's not for me.

A buddhist retreat would probably be better, especially if it was one where noone is allowed to talk.

Reminds me of the old joke:
