I still have some auto-updating TGPs. There are a lot of clicks on the image galleries and an extremely disproportionate amount of that traffic is mobile.

Ironically in this day and age of ubiquitous video on computers, laptops, netbooks, iPads & smartphones, photos are still really important. This is especially true for certain genres and types of content. I shoot a lot of high resolution photosets of new teen girls for various projects, and I often hear feedback on the photos from both clients & surfers. Videos are necessary too, but the collectors seem to really enjoy the photos for new faces and also for niches.

Yes they still enjoy pictures as we all do, but I do not think it is enough to give members. They should have & probably need scenes

pictures always defeated video, what killed pictures is NOT video, but the bulk inserted mass crap of the lazy industry...

Remeber back in the days, even Rusty and Eddie bbs days... the pictures were of hot sexy chicks, every snap was seductive, sexy, or good sleeze. Bulk content found in those days was not of the same photoshoot of microsecond snaps this era brings..

Photo content was not a video stripped down into 15000 1 second clips..

Provide quality work, and it will make cash... But coming up with 1,000,000 pictures of unique quality.. not easy to do for most

i certainly think the typical surfer signs up for videos primarily but pics are still an important factor - we have a questionnaire and the preferred media is video according to 85-90% of subscribers. There will always be some that prefer pics and always a need for them.

exactly! this is the main advantage pics have over clips. A pic gives you the starting point of a fantasy, clips push you down a route already made.

Which is a problem with some videos. 5 minutes in and the model is so obviously fake it's a turn off. But a picture is rarely that disappointing.

Almost all of my sites are PHOTOS only, mostly user submitted, members love it and rebill. While I read most of you saying how bad business is, mine is kicking ass and has been for years.
