Apparently, American Apparel does judge books by their covers. And hires and fires accordingly.

The photos are inside of the book on every page, too.

i was using this as photo op!

i've been to the aa plant here in los angeles, all the workers there must be exempt from the retail rule.

It's a fucked up rule but probably good for business. How would you feel if you went to Victoria's Secret and there was a fat, ugly girl trying to sell you lingerie. Appearance does matter.

I want to say that being next to an ordinary woman can make you feel more beautiful - maybe there is some value to that. Imagine being next to supermodels - it could make you feel more ugly. There is not much more to say, except lose fat.
