Actually it does suck and they should be outraged.

Kosher butchering is not only their way of doing it, but its also one of the most humane ways of killing animals for food, another thing that makes Judaism more progressive than most religions IMO.

how can you say its progressive when they're killing it the way they've been told to from a book thousands of years old?

infact i would call it backward to only eat food that the bible tells you is ok and/or has been prepared in a special way.

Its a fact kosher preparation of meat is not only more humane but the meat actually tastes better. Why? Because the animals do not die in fear. In the typical butchering practice animals are basically tortured until death, thus sending loads of adrenalin coursing thru their bodies which works its way into the meat you eat.

With kosher they do not die in fear, they are much more relaxed and so the meat tastes better.

When ever i bought hot dogs i always bought hebrew national...way better than any other for this reason.

Brain signals have shown that calves do appear to feel pain when slaughtered according to Jewish and Muslim religious law, strengthening the case for adapting the practices to make them more humane.
