I dare one of you fucks to tell me that was justified...

A guy has a right to know why he is being treated unjustly. Im not sure if they guy was frontin in the car, but it seems to me he didnt do anything wrong.

Totally unjustified. The total time from when he asked for the guy's license and insurance to the time the guy was tazed and laying on the street was like 44 seconds! Do you know what happened to the cop?

If thats was my dad who was the cop ok. Taser him.

He did react quickly right after he stepped out of the car.

Bottom line is the officer is going home after he clocks out. Family first

So youre basically saying...

If your father started frisking a guy, knee in neck and treating him like a felon for littering... it would be ok because your father gets to go home to his family at night?

But he didn't step out of the car, he was dragged out.

You see the guy tell the cop he needs to grab his ID and PoI. I have been pulled over probably 20+ times and I have NEVER had a cop not give me the time to grab this stuff when I explain to him that my ID is in my pocket and the other stuff is in the glove box. I also don't make any quick movements and the keys are usually on the dash.

I guess I've been lucky that I haven't been pulled over by any dick cops yet. Most of them are cool even if they're arresting you or giving you a ticket.

Yes. Who knows what is going to happen when you pull someone over. Having no plates sends a red flag warning to the cop. Maybe a stolen car or even a carjacking. Things are so un predictable.

Also who knows whats happened to the cop prior to this incident. He may have had a very bad experience and is a little jumpy.

And yes my dad was a cop. He came home with broken bones a lot. Thank god my dad wasnt killed on clock. Each time I asked my dad "Why didnt you just kick his ass?

I think the taser should be used only if the person shows signs of violence.

Let's say a man lies down on the ground and refuses to stand up. He's not violent, but he is refusing to cooperate. The taser should not be used.

Just because you have a badge doesn't mean you can hit someone with their own car door.

If you're a cop and you ask me to do something that takes time to do, allow me a reasonable amount of time to comply or I will act the same way as he did.

That guy was way triggerhappy with that taser and the whole situation would have been avoided if the cop wasn't acting like deputy drill sergeant.

One thing I've learned over the years is that your tone of voice will set the tone for the situation. If you're calm, the other person will be calm. If you're walking into a hostile situation and the person you're trying to calm down is already pissed and loud - acting the same way will only act as a spark in a powder keg and set the whole thing off.

I'm pretty sure bumping him with the door was unintentional. They are a couple feet from speeding cars. The cops job is to keep the guy safe.

The dude over reacted and used the "door bump" as a way to get heated. Right after he got bumped he reacted. Then the cop reacted.

Lucky the dude didnt get shot by a real gun. It's not lethal and pretty effective.

When you pull over someone and the dude is acting upset or angry. Bad things happen every time.

Um no... they get paid to risk their life. They cant go around tasering/shooting people for any reason. If the guy attacked him or something fine... but he gets paid to risk his life, its part of the job and he should KNOW there is a chance he won't make it home. Deal with it or get another job, police officer SHOULD not be equivalent to doughnut jocky.

That was 100% justified and will be cleared in court for sure.

Cops have levels of escalation so they dont get caught in a loop of non compliance.

1) Get out of the car
2) Get out of the car
3) Get out of the car or i will taze you

If they dont use force, they will just be sitting and arguing for 20 minutes about getting out of the car.

In this case, the guy was warned, he started to get a little jumpy and boom, he was tazed. I don't see the problem, I have seen a lot of people tazed for less.

I love all the GFY arm chair tough guys, I have seen it many times just being out socially, it's always the lippy guy "you cant do that to me, blah blah blah" cop ends up arresting them and the minute they are in the back of the cop car, reality sets in and they start crying like a 5 year old girl. If you would have just shut the fuck up and given him the license and didnt cop an attitude, you would have been on your way.

Most of you have NO FUCKING idea what cops deal with day in and out. Every car you pull over could mean the end of your life. Maybe the car was stolen in this video, maybe he saw a weapon, maybe he looked like a suspect in another crime.

Either markersmart, I hope someone robs you at gunpoint someday.

I can agree with a legitimate case... but that officer did NOT give sufficient time to get anything.

And who cares if he just got out of a gun fight with another person. That other person isnt this guy.

The cop is the one that crossed the line of acceptance.

No, what's better is, you need to send all the cop haters to a country where they have no police, and people just freely beat the fuck out of you, murder, rob you etc. These are generally not civilized nations.

or

the people that complain about the .00001% of bad cops in america, send them to a place like mexico or venezuala/columbia where they shake your ass down for money every 20 minutes, and when you dont pay, they beat the fuck out of you.

how do you know ! How do you know what cop saw or was thinking. Just because its on YOU TUBE !?? How do you know what the driver was doing before he got pulled over, maybe he was driving out of control. Could have been a million things.

Problem with this world is they make decisons on others before they know the facts.

You should go do a few ride alongs with the police and you will understand a lot more. Hell, I thought someone in handcuffs wasnt a threat anymore, Yeah right, these days with all these mma idiots, throwing headbutts and kicks etc. Then when they get tazed, people always are saying "ohh god he was in handcuffs and they tazed him!" or the homeless guys with TB or HIV, spitting on you.

just one of the million things, people dont realize the police deal with every single day

How many of you think he was pulled over for going 5 MPH over the speed limit? Or because he was black? He was pulled over for no license plate.

No license plate, slow providing requested docs - could be a stolen car.

this is true. I have considered this...

I also dont think the officer "hit" him with the door... They are right next to a fuckin freeway.

The only part I think the cop was right in doing so is keeping them both safe. Because yes, the black guy COULD have shoved the cop in front of a car or something. But I feel it wouldnt even have escalated to that point if the officer gave the guy at least a sufficient amount of time to get his shit.

It goes both ways, but that cop is a bit too aggressive initially...

The guy was lippy. I thought he had a chick in the car with all the high pitched lip coming out of it. And they were way too close to the roadway for my liking, that is for sure.

I have been on one ridealong. Nothing this severe. I can fully agree with you on this statement. But this is not the case here...

That guy was completely docile and just threatened by the officers aggressive nature.

I have also watched police beat my loved ones with NOT ONE OUNCE of reason. Hold my mother by the neck up against a wall simply because she wouldnt tell them where someone was... why. because she didnt know...

I have seen both sides and I will defend a legit non hypocritical cop any day before any criminal. But not when its unjust.

And FUCK YOU ama... I should grow up? The officer said in the "Officer's Police car video" (not just a fuckin youtube video) that he was 5 over with no LP on the back.

You saying you never speed? So if you were pulled over and asked to get your shit, while looking for it trold to get out and then tazed.... youd be ok with it.... simply because who knows what went on with the officer previously?

YOU FUCKIN GROW UP DUDE!

I think there are a number of cases that people have posted on here with the "defendant" so to speak being a mouthy piece of shit that was non-compliant consistently for a long time and then finally were detained, tazed, even beaten etc. where people think it was ridiculous for the cop to do and I generally completely disagree with that.

In this case though, the cop escalated things WAY too quickly. I realize there's no plate on the back of the car and that can be pretty major, but we don't all have license and registration within arms' reach that we can whip out in 2 seconds. I know there's been times where I've probably searched for my registration in my glove box for a minute or two before finding it. Granted I said "hold on, let me find it" first whereas this guy didn't appear to say anything at first, which is a bad idea, but I don't think this guy's actions were enough to warrant an escalation THAT quickly. "Whoa whoa whoa, let me find it" isn't "Fuck you, pig!"

yep because having police means no one "beat the fuck out of you, murder, rob you etc.".

maybe this isnt obvious to you but people who commit violent crimes do not care about cops.

wait arent you describing Australia? you fill an island full of criminals and you end up with one of the most peaceful nations in the world. funny how that works eh.

There was a girl in the car. Yes he got lippy. but it wasnt fuck you pig... it was "why are you coming at me like that"

I am all for safety... I am not for power hungry asshole cops. You cannot justify that with personal safety

I have been on more than a dozen. My father, uncle, brother and grandfather are or were all cops. The driver was a whiny bitch, but the cop was way too quick with the tazer and did not give nearly enough time for the driver to comply. End of story.

At the end of the day do you want to bite your tongue and go home with a ticket or be right and end up in jail.

As far as I'm concerned when I get pulled over it's Yes Massa, Nooo Massa. Here ma license Massa, please be merciful, Massa.

Because it's worth $150 or $200 or whatever not to spend the night around a bunch of pigs and homeless drunk ass motherfuckers in a county tank.
