* Wordpress cannot be easily (or in many cases not at all) integrated with some of the most popular billing systems used in the adult industry. DHDmedia, CCBILL, Netbilling, Epoch, Jettis and others. All of these systems are based upon a simple method of protected a folder on a server. Typically, a folder named "/members" is protected using a .htaccess method where usernames and passwords are stored on the client's server and posted by the biller. AdultSiteCMS allows for the first time Wordpress to be used as a regular adult site by separating the /tour and /member folders. It works harmoniously with almost all billing software and can support multi-level administration.

* Another feature is the level of security in the software. Unlike Wordpress per se, the software has strong and carefully built security features that make hacking difficult. AdultSiteCMS admin is protected by a custom IP Blocking system. Admins who attempt to login too many times may have their IP blocked. This is a deterrent against hack attempts. The AdultSiteCMS admin can also have the "captcha" code added to the login to make it even more difficult for hackers to break in.

* Content can easily be updated in large quantities into the CMS. Photo and Video content cannot be imported using the FTP method. FTP allows the creation of folders and simply tagging content locations. This method enables the creation of content in bulk on a local computer. Though webmasters can choose either link to an FTP server to upload content or not.

* Another difference is that Wordpress themes are not built around an adult site model. AdultsiteCMS uses a simple 3-4 page tour with latest photos, videos, bonus sites, upcoming updates, news and support pages. All pages lead to the join page. AdultSiteCMS also has common adult pages needed for billing and compliance. 2557 pages, support, copyright pages and help pages.

* AdultSiteCMS creates /tour and /member folders which can be controlled via the CMS admin. This is unlike Wordpress which stores all its design and admin in only one folder.

* A webmaster using AdultSiteCMS can add news to a news section - a unique one of the tour and member areas.

* A webmaster can also add sites to the "Bonus Sites" page easily. Putting a thumbnail and url and description of each site in order to collect affiliate money or promote other sites they own.

* As it is SEO- and Flash Player- friendly, AdultSiteCMS supports many languages. It comes pre-installed with multi-language capability. They can be in English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. Any post or page can be in one of these languages. A cookie-based system remembers what language a user clicked on so that their next visit will show the site in their preferred language.

* AdultSiteCMS tour and member headers can be changed in the admin by simply browsing for an image and have it posted into as a member or as header graphic. Enabling the CMS to be easily customized.

All these factors then create a formidable package that not only takes the tediousness of maintaining adult websites, but augments much needed features according to the needs of the webmaster.

Yes we have made sure to be GPL compliant. We have basically worked around a simple version of Wordpress to enable all the features required to make an adult site. While still keeping the original program the same.

not trying to knock you but you should dress up the demo site a bit more. Its pretty bad. Most demos for products have a very presentable package yours just looks well unorganized. I just started doing stuff with wordpress and looked at the demo and closed the page 5 seconds later. Presentation is half the battle ;)

Get a professional WordPress theme designer to make you a few tours. Most adult designers r not familiar with hooks, php, the loop, etc. that is needed to make a proper WordPress design.

Hello, I don't think the phrasing is confusing. You can download more than six million templates for free in Wordpress. The $150-300 is the cost for a php guy to modify the free downloaded template further to your specifications.

AdultSiteCMS works with almost any billing system - as long as the biller can protect the /members folder - NATS uses a system of password authentication which can protect a folder in this way. Therefore NATS (working with the biller) or with the NATS membership authentication system it can work.
