Busted router... any recommendations?

Link me up to some good routers. My old linksys finally kicked it.

Since linksys is Cisco, probably a new one.

However I believe they have some newer "N" models which are working with dd-wrt. This might be a better bet to take advantage of newer technology. Just make sure to use a compatible development build. Check the forums: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/

Strange. I had a Linksys die on my yesterday and had to replace it today. It was the WCG200 and over the last 2 years, it's been replaced under warranty 4 times. Never had any problems with any of my other Linksys products and I've been using them for as long as I can remember.

This time I bought a Motorola modem and a Linksys E2000.

Thats funny because I just got done trouble shooting an issue with my wrt54gs. Appears to be a heat related problem. I am going to shut it down for the night and keep things cool around it tomorrow. If that fails I am going Wireless N for certain.

My Linksys router crapped out on me a while back, so I bought a D-Link Xtreme N Gaming Router and I love it !!
http://www.amazon.com/D-Link-DGL-450...30138&sr =8-1 It's $156.98 at Amazon.com

It's a wonderful router especially if you have a house like mine where I'm on the main pc, the wife is on the laptop and my 3 kids are all playing COD on their Xbox 360s at the same time, no lag at all.

I'm definitely going to go with an N router, but I wanted to stay in the linksys/cisco family.

I am far from an Apple fan but like my Airport Express... Since it's so small I take it travelling and split my hotel connection so we don't have to pay for 2 laptops. Using it right now at Embassy Suites in Tampa
