I think its not healthy doing it for to long & need to change my life drastically. Been doing this 10 years and im 39 now. I have a diploma in Hotel Bar management and worked in several hotels before doing this Adult stuff. I've made good income but now its time for a change... im not happy with my life... I like to get a respectable job where I dont need to hide to my family & friends what I really do for a living. PORN is not something to be proud of.

you guys have any Idea what route should I take? pls be nice hehehe;) Im sure allot of people are in the same shoes like me.

You are telling us that sex is not respectable, that sexuality is not respectable and that you are tired of hiding. You should not have hidden in the first place and maybe you should not have gotten into the Adult industry to begin with.

Your thinking of a dump lol . I worked in a hotel as a night auditor as a young man. It was mostly business travelers and pretty boring actually.I enjoyed it but it paid pretty shitty.

Here is my advice and it may not be worth much, but it is how I believe. Decide what you are passionate about and pursue that. Do that while you are still in porn and see if there is a way for you make a living doing what you are passionate about. Since you will still have income you won't be pressured for money and you can take your time and find the right situation.

If you find you can make a living doing whatever this is you will be ten times happier than you are now because you will be making money and doing something you love.

If you just get another job chances are eventually you will burn out on it and feel the same way you do now about porn.

Someone once told me, "Do what you love and the money will follow."

I have been in the industry since 97 and am about your age. I agree with you its not really something I want to be doing much longer. I got out for a while then got back in. The industry isn't what it used to be either. Alot more out there willing to stab each other in the back. Firget about what you think about porn and its morality. It's more the backstabbing/shaving etc etc that goes on. It is getting tougher to make a buck in the adult industry and that is making us all meaner! People I used to deal with in the past I dont even want to talk to anymore on this forum. Not because of what they have done/said to me personally but because of stuff they say to others here. After so many years in this industry I dont think you can help but become jaded.

My life has improved drastically since I got into the porn biz. Lots of ups and just as many downs but overall the quality of life has been a lot better. I am proud of what I do. Not only do I find it respectable I think it is necessary. If I am very lucky I will be doing this for many many years to come.

If you feel shame in what your doing or feel it is beneath you then yeah, move on. But try and take away positive feelings from what you have done

I kinda feel what you are saying. Everybody in my family knows what i do for a living execpt my young kids. My wife totally hates porn and it makes it almost impossible to talk about my workday with her. (how was your day, Not bad i couldnt get monster cocks and gapping assholes to convert the right way)
I have a lot of adult experience but it doesnt seem to mean anything when applying for a mainstream job. They dont want to see what sites youve worked for, or even know what nats are carma is. Most of the major companies dont even use php (at least the ones ive tried). I like porn personally but seeing it everyday makes it boring to me. Knowing I will more than likely never see anything new that excites me like before i entered this biz.

here's what i would do if i were you-

1. get a VERY well-done resume written, a professional one, you can disguise your adult work by using generic terms highlighting your skill set and experience.
shop your resume around online and also network with family and friends to see what's out there.

2. try and apply the skills and experience you gathered working in adult and apply it to a new business/product/service that combines your skills of hotel bar work and adult.
