It really depends on what sponsors you are promoting. Some are good for PPS and some for Rev. If you promote us for example I would recommend rev share. A lot of affiliates need that quick cash though to pay for hosting and whatever else. Rev Share is great for programs that have constant updates.

Actually, there is a reason why your rebills have died and it has nothing to do with what you think it does champ. There are bigger issues going on behind the scenes few of the sheeple really know about..... yet.

I'll give you a little hint, it has to do with programs losing their merchant accounts.

This does not affect all. I wouldn't promote revshare with a program that offers high PPS payouts on trials though. Pure revshare programs don't have any problem keeping their merchant as well as all ccbill progrms etc.

wrong - i have a solo girl site that has been dead for 2 years, meaning no new content, i do rotate content in and out so that a new members gets fresh updates - to him anyway.

i can't stop the rebills, still does 5-10 rebills a day. there are lots of sites that still do rebills.

i don't see the difference between pps and revshare if the sites you're promoting aren't total crap. what's the difference between having the money in your hand a month faster - not as if anybody is making any money from their savings account.

If rev share is doing badly it means the members aren't rebilling. So going PPS means the sponsors have to get him to upsell or cross sell in some way. If it's all done with the clients approval, knowledge and satisfaction that's fine.

If not, your sending traffic so a scammer and making everyone's job harder each month.

So my hint and tidbit does not sum up every company, nor the entire industry. However it is effecting some of the bigger, or more well known, ones right now in regards to their rebills.

Wow our rev share is kicking ass! Not just saying that because I work for tushycash.com I am saying this because it is true! It's hard to trust any reps or program owners now a days and looking at stats and seeing rebills I must say I myself personally am very happy with the outcome! I know some sites that I personally belong to have went to shit so I signed up as a member and found out it was because the members area is shit! *shrugs*

We are making money in this recession, but not nearly as much.

As a program owner, at first I was worried about PPS, and I liked it when resellers did revshare. We update our sites, though, and members stick around. Oh, how I love watching those PPS recurs! Cha-CHING!

maybe you are with the wrong sponsors... I have referred some sales that have been rebilling for over 5 months on a few sponsors... maybe your sponsors simply stopped updating their members area...

Depends on what niche you are promoting, if you promote gay/tranny/cams/dating you will typically see longer retention rates than your run of the mill teen/gf sites.

revshare has always been a joke for most sites. The only place that revshare makes sense is dating, and solo girl sites where the actual model interacts with the customers which equals longer retention rates.

Remember the webmasters are just as eager to keep the users rebilling as the affiliate. So we work hard for those rebills!

We still make a LOT more from rebills a month from our affiliates than we do initial joins.

Affiliates who used to be on PPS with us have switched to revshare because I told them just how well we rebill. Yes that leads to a loss in revenue for us but the way I see it is if the affiliate earns more, they are more likely to push us more and in the long run earn more for both parties involved.
