I've got Sprint's version of it, the only one with the slide out keyboard.

Best phone I've owned, and it's my third Android phone and we've got an iPhone here as well.

I've been waiting for my iphone4 for almost a month already (no one has any in Canada) so I was thinking of picking up the Samsung Galaxy.

I've been on the Palm Pixi for the last year. And although I like the small size it's having battery issues. I was looking at The Samsung Galaxy as my next phone on Sprint. Glad to hear such good reviews about it.

There is a good review of it over at http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/16/epic-4g-review/

No, it is a little bit bigger because of bigger screen. I was a bit "worried" about the size when I first read about it, but It is really not a problem at all. Youtube and webpages is so much better to read when you have a bigger screen. And the weight is less than iPhone, I think.

I love my HTC Evo 4G with its huge 4.3 inch screen. I want to check out Sprint's version of the Samsung Galaxy S, the Epic 4G with its slightly smaller but better quality screen and slide out keyboard. There is just so much functionality in these phones. The Android app market is great as well with a lot of free apps.

Get it from ebay.

Iphone4 rocks, nothing else comes even close. The screen is #1 by far, looks perfect from all angles.

Trillian... Good one! Will add!

I also like Zedge. It has like a gazillion ringtones and wallpapers for free. Some really funny ones, like the Indian call senter guy... (search for it)

I use tv-guide for my country AND I also have my countrys yellow pages, a nice app that looks up the caller when they ring and present full name and address. And it looks it up instantly, no waiting.

- Facebook
- Spotify (for premium users)
- Twitter
- MSN Droid X
- CRKO Commander
- Winds of steel demo (game)
- Goggles

and various news apps. I also added a lootery app. where I can buy lotto tickets, place bets and check results and any winnings.

They all works fast and I have no problems running several of them at the same time. The yellowpages have to run for it to work, but it is minimized so you dont notice it. It does not eat much memory either.

I have T-mobile, the only reason I haven't upgraded from the G1 is I need that slide out keyboard. I wish they had these for my carrier. Does anyone know if you can jailbreak the new Samsung to work with Tmobile?

Got the Fascinate, Verzions version. Everything being said is true, awesome phone that is light, slim, and does EVERYTHING. You really have to watch something in HD on the screen to understand why everyone is talking it up, go get one!

The T-Mobile flavor of the Galaxy S is called Samsung Vibrant, no physical keyboard however. Only the Sprint version has the keyboard.

The T-Mobile G2 is already available for pre-ordering and has Android and a hardware keyboard

The interesting thing about the Galaxy S is that the camera doesn't need a flash http://www.tmonews.com/2010/07/is-th...ment-to-flash/

T-Mobile is or just have released their version of the Samsung Galaxy, but it won't have the slide out keyboard. Sprint got an exclusive on that.

TouchWiz 3. It's been updated and works quite nicely. You don't have to use it though. It's easy to disable and active another launcher, like LauncherPro which is great and snappy fast too.
