I need to contact SublimeDirectory asap.. Please help
Hey guys,
Could someone help me get in touch with the webmaster from SublimeDirectory? I tried e-mailing but haven't received a reply yet. JD from Sublime linked to one of my website's content page on their frontpage and my webserver is getting hit with a sudden spike in traffic. It's been more than 24 hours now and the link is still up on all his sites. I know this is a sweet problem to have but my server just can't handle the amount of traffic it's sending me right now, especially since it hosts all the videos as well. I could switch to another server but there's way too much for me to backup, not to mention I don't have a spare dedicated server ready. I figured the link would be gone soon enough to warrant that trouble. If someone from Sublime is reading this, I would like to thank you in advance for the free plug and it's my fault for not putting this site on better server. Thanks guys.. |

You can simply redirect traffic from their domain to an empty page.
It can be done in .htaccess Something like this (not sure if it's exactly correct) RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http(s)?://(www\.)?sublimedirectory.com.*$ [NC,OR] RewriteRule .* http://adomainame.com/empty.html [R,L] |

Your host can redirect from their firewall/appliance/router.
