I need to get some things off my chest and perhaps it will help to tell you guys about it.

First of all, my car. I owned a shitty megane, it basically broke down and wasn't worth getting it repaired. Some guy offered me £120 for it that's how broke it was.
Anyway, I decided it was probably time for a new motor so I found a nice 12 year old A4 on eBay. It was a dealer with a garage so I went to buy it.

While I was there he mentioned something about spongy brakes but assured me it would get sorted and there was a 3 month guarantee.
He said bring it back next week and we will sort out any problems you have with the car.
I took the car back the following week and they lent me one of theirs so I could get around.

While at the garage I mentioned a few other problems. Squeaky flywheel or something. Passenger window fault, airbag light on, engine management light on, interior lights, handbook and keyfob needed reprogramming.

Most of them not big jobs. Spoke to the guy several times over the 2 weeks I had his car and was told the switch for the window had been ordered, the engine squeak had been done and the only thing to do was the key fob but it was being a "nightmare". I could go through the messages to let you know exactly what bullshit he said.

Anyway after over 2 weeks I really needed the car for a wedding and guess what had been done? Fucking nothing. I was fuming. Naturally, being British I just drove away without saying anything but surely next week I am going to have to go down and face them. It wasn't so much that they didn't do the jobs either, it's that he lied to me that they were working on the car when clearly they did fuck all.

Second thing is my daughter turns 8 tomorrow. Looks like it's going to rain so we could do with a gazebo. Some friends lent us one. Couple of years old, huge and would look amazing. Unfortunately all the connectors are missing so now it looks like I am going to have to buy one from Argos or B&Q in the morning and then take it all down, pack it away and tell them their are parts missing so I can get my money back.
