NATS code question?

I am wondering if it is normal to see changes in affiliate numbers when sending traffic to a sponsor.

Let's say I am affiliate 100 (the first string after decoding a Nats link) and I click on it.

I surf around or click my way to the join page of the site. Now, browser status bar shows a different code. When I decode this link it shows a new and different affiliate number: i.e. 0 or 1057 or whatever.

Is that normal?

I don't know what you mean by "browser status" but IMO I think cookie matters, not the URL.
