Morning without two cups of coffee for me will not be good. But green coffee beans are not sold everywhere. So I buy coffee beans that is in the store.

But it would be cool to roast them on their own and breathe in the aroma of fresh roasted beans.

But alas!

That article has some strange analogies .Coffee is like fine wine it has to be drunk fresh. Obviously not at all true, i have wine that is over 40 years old and still not ready to drink.
I do agree that to get the very best tasting coffee you should either roast your own ( not in an oven as suggested, as most cannot exceed 500F ) or go to a local coffee roaster.

I have been toying with the idea of buying a small roaster but the process can be messy as it puts out a lot of chaff from the roasting process and the small Amazon machines are really just toys compared to professional roasting machines. Most manufactures recommend roasting outside as the oily smell will stick to furniture and clothing. But that is difficult here in Maine with temperatures below freezing for months at a stretch.

Guess i will have to stick to having my Kona shipped direct from Hawaii for now

Probably seems weird because it doesn't say that.

I wouldn't say not at all. In fact, it would be mostly true. For most wines, aging only deteriorates their flavor, particularly the fruit notes. Beaujolais producers famously marketed their products short shelf life by flying it across the Atlantic on the concord and rushing it to a Manhattan party by ambulance so it could be enjoyed at it's peak.

I have all the makers or have had.... I think a fresh medium roast South American in a press is my fav. I put fruit in the press or cinnamon when I want to jazz the coffee up... AND I only use 100% cream. at whole foods, they have a great brand in glass bottles that really are amazing.

thing is when you roast your own and do the grind... really new game. as the guy pointed out coffee beans have fats and complex carbs that break down within a week affecting the flavour... find a roaster in your area and get some beans. the lighter the roast the higher the caffeine the less intense the flavour.

this is a roster however I'm going up to the 600-800 range next roaster I get

drink a breakfast roast if you want strong, a light roast has a brighter flavour and is most enjoyable.

Beaujolais is the biggest joke the French have ever played on Europe. The Beaujolais run as its called in the UK is in fact a poorly kept secret by the French, it's their poor quality wine that has to be drunk quickly before it spoils. I don't consider that wine at all its worse than boxed wine and thats saying something.

You take a colander and set it inside the steel bowl and put the coffee beans in the colander and heat up the steel bowl with a blowtorch the colander will keep the beans from burning on the steel
