I watched the entire thing. It was thoroughly entertaining, it was a farce from both sides. GOP obv wanted to demonize him and Dem's praised him as a patriot. Nothing was gained from this whole thing except soundbites that they could bring back to their constituents. Of course CNN and MSNBC used it so people like Mark would think he is a hero and did nothing wrong.

The IG report said

“We were deeply troubled by text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations,”

This sentence was the crux of the entire 11 hour farce. He says it gave the appearance and that he bias but he didn't, that having a point of view and bias are two different things. While he is right, you certainly would have to be a very strong individual with impeccable morals and character to not let your point of view leak into becoming bias.

Though there is no proof at this point that he did act against Trump, he certainly is of questionable character, that's the main point the GOP was trying to make.

You haven't been following, they exchanged over 50,000 texts during the election cycle. There is a large volume of anti Trump texts, ranging from we will stop it to he will be impeached. The impeachment text he sent before they had even interviewed a single person in the Russian probe, that information came out yesterday. Texts where after Trump was elected he said he had unfinished business unleashed due to the Clinton Email scandal and ''Needed to fix it''

The point is that the guy is anti Trump, there is no proof that this has had an effect on the investigation but obviously Mueller took him off the investigation and escorted him from the FBI building.

He failed a polygraph but kept his clearance which again was discussed yesterday and that it goes against normal bureau procedure. Is there any concrete evidence he did wrong due to his views? Not at the moment, but he isn't exactly a beacon of morality. He clearly is a liar, who is to say he is being truthful now?

But to say it's over 1 text shows you really haven't been paying attention. There were also thousands of texts that were deleted off his FBI phone that's shady as well.

Mark watched the CNN clip where he responded to Gowdy and came off as the ultimate patriot. It was a rousing clip for sure and he came off great.... If that was all you saw, if you watched the entire thing, he came off as a condescending child, refusing to answer questions on the basis the FBI said he shouldn't then they get the FBI to say that he can answer those questions and again he doesn't answer them.

GOP obv wanted to demonize him and Dem's praised him as a patriot. Nothing was gained from this whole thing except soundbites that they could bring back to their constituents. Of course CNN and MSNBC used it so people like Mark would think he is a hero and did nothing wrong. The IG report said “We were deeply troubled by text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations,” This sentence was the crux of the entire 11 hour farce. He says it gave the appearance and that he bias but he didn't, that having a point of view and bias are two different things. While he is right, you certainly would have to be a very strong individual with impeccable morals and character to not let your point of view leak into becoming bias. Though there is no proof at this point that he did act against Trump, he certainly is of questionable character, that's the main point the GOP was trying to make.
