Combating manual action via google

Hello all,

I've been working on my site camgirldivas.com and today I got some depressing news when I logged into google search console.

It says "This site appears to contain a significant percentage of low-quality or shallow pages that do not provide users with much added value (such as thin affiliate pages, cookie-cutter sites, doorway pages, automatically generated content, or copied content). "

It's a cam site, that shows online cam girls. What can I do to fix this? I'd imagine whitelabels experience this as well? I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any tips would be appreciated!

weird, but give more technical details like which cms is used for it?

white labels are almost dead for seo long time ago.

is all your text content pulled from api feeds or what?

maybe too many pages with little text or duplicate content at once on relatively new domain?

If you simply build good sites with good (real) content, you don't get this sort of thing. Googles algorythm updates won't hurt you either.

Ok so I wrote the site from scratch, it fetches a list of online cam girls from various sources (chaturbate api, live jasmin, strip cash, etc). I don't download the cam model photos and store them locally, I hotlink back to the respective cam sites. I display them on my homepage at
https://camgirldivas.com

It's not a word press cam site like I've seen on here. But the idea is the same. So based on the description of the manual action:

"This site appears to contain a significant percentage of low-quality or shallow pages that do not provide users with much added value (such as thin affiliate pages, cookie-cutter sites, doorway pages, automatically generated content, or copied content)."

The site DOES have affiliate pages (all the cam sites do), it's not a "cookie cutter site", it's not "doorway pages", it IS generated content, and technically NOT copied content.

I don't know what the heck is causing me to get flagged for this, they don't specific what's causing the issue. I am a developer and not great at marketting, SEO, etc. Am I doing something wrong and just not aware?

Manual action most likely has to do with your generated content. Try hiring writers to make actual profiles. Some things SEO wise you might want to look into:

https://kikdirty.com/ you are linked into from this link farm.
https://tubesexxxx.com/ and this link farm
https://bestmethodmonetizing.blogspot.com/ low quality link
The Overlander Trail crap link
Camming for Free - Simply click and Enjoy you seem to have been added to many link farms just before the traffic on your site took a shit in Google.

http://local-escort-listings.com/pornstars
Why is your site's header here and many other places? This might be what triggered having a Google employee look at your site manually.

comment spamming... bad idea.

I doubt you bubbled up to the manual team for thin content it's more likely something to do with your backlinks. I did a quick hrefs report and I see a lot of bad links. Are you using public PBN's? The kind you buy on blackhat world or fiverr?

Thin content is also a big issue now. You need quality content that actually generates a good CTR to please google.

That is exactly what happened, I paid someone on Fiverr and he basically spammed my domain name on comments etc. This was a couple months ago. So is my domain name pretty much screwed? I wrote back the Google team asking for more info on what pages were causing a problem. I read that they probably won't respond

By the way I didn't know he was going to spam my domain like that thought he actually knew what he was doing. I'm not good with SEO but learned a lot the past day with this issue for sure.

Why people are buying those fiverr links at all? You can just ruin things with them. Buying nonrelevant links is a waste of money long term. A few quality niche relevant links will do more good than hundreds of those useless links that could even send some traffic and ruin your bounce rate (SEO factor for a while)

If you don't have that much invested in the domain I would start fresh. You can't use any cheap ass links to build your reputation these days. You need blog post backlinks from real sites that have traffic for them to count.

You might recover from a manual penalty if you disavow all those links but I would just start over if it was me. Using the Disavow is a nuclear option and there is evidence that supports the fact that it could hurt rankings more. I've never done it.

You can disavow the crap links as a start.

But one thing... why would anybody sell you a worth while service on Fiverr? If getting backlinks was that easy, they'd be ballers and not be on Fiverr.

Another note about Fiverr.

Lets say it costs $5 for you to get something. I think they charge you .50 so $5.50?

The worker gets $4. After Paypal fees they get $3.60.

What do you really expect for that?

Even if they charge you $20 for an upgraded offering:
$16 to them. $14.40 after PayPal... what are you getting?
