So the other day I bought a laptop dock so I can hook up two LCDs to my laptop and the cord that connects from the dock to the laptop is only 2-foot long. Look at the photo below and the cord 2nd from the right is the cord and you can see it connects to the laptop. That is a 4 to 6-foot cord.

So I had to order another 6-foot cord just so I can get it to work. Would you be mad?

I contacted their support and asked for a partial refund to cover the price of the cord that would work, so we will see if they will help me out.

Sorry just needed to vent.

Anyone else ordered stuff and then realized you didn't get what you wanted?

mad??? i would be demanding a refund! if you bought it on amazon or ebay report it

if they said 6 foot you better have 6

It doesn't say any length for the cord but you can see in the picture that the dock and laptop are not 2 feet apart so they used a longer cord.

Like I said I emailed them and did ask for a partial refund to cover the price of the cord.

well then buy extra cord. live and learn. leave it in the reviews just don't bash them. more of consumer education.

ya, I ordered the longer cable. I just hate they used a longer cable in the picture that they are selling the item with.

When I go to MCD I know the food will not look like the commercials but when I buy electronics I'd expect it to work like the picture.

I just started the thread to vent since I no longer have twitter or FB to vent to lol

not banned just got tired of seeing either too much politics, religion, or 100's family photos where people are always smiling trying to make them seem like they are happy.

Don't watch that show but while we are venting I'm not feeling this season of Shameless.

are you talking about this?

cause shameless is no western and that image makes no sense. The show is a comedy and normally has outrageous things going on with lots of sex. This year it is starting much calmer and boring.

don't really watch much horror..

But I am hyped that South Park returns tonight (wed)
