Boeing 737 Max 8 news we missed...

It seems there´s been many more problems with the LEAP engines of the Boeing 737 MAX 8, with engine shut down, this one reported in December, a Norwegian flight...

https://aviationvoice.com/norwegian-...-201812171134/

also in January, a SpiceJet from China, again, another engine shut down in flight...

https://aviationvoice.com/spicejet-b...-201901071102/

and after listening to the black box of the recent accident, it is more than likely the same problem as we´ve discussed in another thread. The IT system overides the pilot and drops the plane with showing engine fault of the new LEAP engines fitted...

The US government has said, it´s obvious the FAA needs to reset laws and legislations, as this plane was passed back in 2017.

Another pilot had saved the plane a day before 139 people were killed.

"The so-called dead-head pilot on the earlier flight from Bali to Jakarta told the crew to cut power to the motor driving the nose down, according to the people familiar, part of a checklist that all pilots are required to memorize."

Apparently cutting power to the engine solves the automatic nosedive problem. And if cutting the engines is required on the emergency checklist, why did the off duty pilot have to tell the crew to do it? And why didn't the next crew follow the required checklist?
