Someone please define "semi-exclusive".
This has probably been brought up before, but what are your feelings on a "semi-exclusive" license? 10 times sold? 20 times?
And what do you guys think is a fair price for, say, a semi-exclusive 15 minute BJ scene? BG scene? Anal? Thanks for your input!! |

It's acceptable in certain circumstances.
I have probably 5-10% semi-exclusive out of all my content and personally I would prefer for it to be 0% if that was possible and buy this content exclusively. |

Everyone would love to have exclusive content, but for many, that's just not in the budget. But if someone were to offer a scene with, say, 20 licenses ONLY, and it was real and the content provider actually kept his word, what's say, a
1) BJ scene worth 2) foot job 3) full BG I'd like to hear what you guys would be willing to pay. I've had some friends who are in the biz ask me this, and I have no idea. I work exclusively for Dogfart, as well as my own sites, but when he asked me this question, I couldn't answer. |

Semi exclusive is all about trust... Just like limited edition lithographs. If the artist engraves
1...2... 3.../ 150 prints but does it 10x how do you know and enforce it ??? You cannot, so: 1) exclusive or 2) non exclusive Everything else is so much BS. |

How I look at semi-exclusive is a little different. It's not how many times it's sold, it's exclusivity for a limited period of time where it's not sold to anyone else. Example: I produce a scene for a website, they are the only ones that get that footage for a specific amount of time. 30 days, 60 days, 90 days after which I can then sell the content. The rates are different based on how long I have to sit on the content. Regardless how you negotiate the deal, like "celandina" said, it's about trust. If you can't trust the producer it's probably not worth it.

I think is a good plan, if content is cool.
the main problem into sell webrights today no-exclusive, is that you have to compete with brokers or other sellers that sell huge amount of scenes for 1 usd each. a good webmaster knows that almost everyone has that content, and to sell membership with that content is really hard. so, semi-exclusive is a good plan, for content provider that know about his scenes quality, and for the webmaster that can sell good content with value and have just few competitors. so, BG scene: 500 euro, max 10 licenses

Depends who's buying the semi exclusive content and how deep you go into contracts etc for the content you're spending money for.
It's extremely hard to track the content once licensing deals are made for semi-exclusive. |
