About the Role: Your mission: To drive and manage Belle Muse’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal health and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, while constructing a comprehensive financial infrastructure from the ground up to achieve stability, scalability, and transforming the finance department into a strategic powerhouse. Key Responsibilities: * Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. * Accounting: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. * Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly). * Budgeting: Establish, monitor, and adjust budgeting processes to align with financial goals. * Cash Flow Management: Manage daily cash flow to ensure operational liquidity and oversee payment processes, including those to global freelancers and creators. * Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Cyprus and Bulgaria and coordinate with external accounting teams in both countries. * Risk Management: Develop strategies to manage risks associated with the high-risk industry and cross-border transactions. * Systems and Processes: Develop and implement financial systems and tools that oversee the integration of financial operations between Torx and Vertex. * Crypto Management: Manage crypto income and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements related to crypto transactions. * Reporting to Leadership: Regularly update the CEO and other executives on financial status and strategies, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. Your KPIs: We heavily believe in data — these will be the KPIs your success will be measured by: * Operating Cash Flow: Cash generated from core business operations, indicating liquidity and operational efficiency. * Expense Management: Actual expenses compared to budgeted expenses, aiming for minimal variance. * Net Profit Margin: Net income divided by total revenue, indicating overall profitability. Outcomes: We will measure your success by the following practical outcomes, among others: * Conduct a detailed audit of current financial practices and health, and present a comprehensive plan outlining improvements, strategies, and objectives for the finance department. * Successfully implement at least one major financial system or tool that enhances financial tracking, reporting, and management. * Ensure the company maintains a positive cash flow with at least a 30-day cash buffer each month, starting immediately and maintained consistently.
