Position:

All Candidates should NOT have a problem working around Adult Gay Content ***

You will be responsible for managing, mentoring, coaching and developing with a team of seasoned software engineers as well as maintaining the stability of our network.

Your immediate task is to get our IT system under control by performing the following tasks:

1. Configuration, patching upgrades, regular back up and disaster recovery for our enterprise wide servers that include:

- Video servers: Machines used to stream and download Windows Media, Real Player, MPV Flash and Silverlight content.
- Database servers: SQL 2005,2008, and mySQL machines.
- Web hosting servers: Windows servers running IIS6/7 as well as numerous physical and virtual servers (via Hyper-V) running Joomla and Movable Type. Windows Server 2003 & 2008.

2. Physical database management that includes:

- Planning for growth
- Handling back up and restore policies
- Optimizing server configuration for scale

3. Documentation management

- Development of a network topology that is ready at a moments notice to share with other technology partner as needed.
- Secure storage and management plan for various passwords and user privileges.
