Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said at a news conference after the rampage Sunday afternoon that nine other people were wounded by gunfire and two others had been hurt in the chaos as people sought to flee.

He said authorities believe 24-year-old David Katz of Baltimore carried out the attack with at least one handgun at the Jacksonville Landing, a complex of eateries and shops on the St. Johns River in that north Florida city. He says the suspect died of a self-inflicted gunshot and authorities were still confirming his identity.

He says he has no immediate motive for the shooting.

no if you are caught they throw the book at you. does not mean it's safe. i was was in west phoenix on a new years in the encanto area. the police stood under the ramada at the park to avoid the rain of bullets being fired in the air. 59th ave and thomas rd area i mean in the some apartments areas they blocked roads and have doods on roofs with ak 47s. i shit you not. all in gun free zones meaning keep the violence away from the kids... they don't listen. kids get shot some die on stray bullets.

This is proabably the result of participation awards the kids of tomorrow are trained so there are no winners and losers. I am sure there will be many problems by how the kids are raised these days. It isn't all about video games causing violence it is about culture in general.
