Just made reservations at Circus Circus, $29 / night from 5 - 8 not to bad. Any idea how far I am away from the venetian though? And is this hotel a shit hole? thanks :thumbsup

i stayed there the first time I went to internext - rooms were great.

less than $10 cab ride - not even 5 mins.

We have rooms at the Venetian.. Sure it is ten times that price, but hey! It is very hard to get lost when you are trying to crawl back to your room at 5am when you are in the same building.

We're staying at Harrah's, its supposed to be across the street...im not sure how much the rooms are but i believe pretty cheap.

i heard harrahs was sold out, oh well now anyhow.

I will stay at harrahs as well. Not that expensive, but I heard a good hotel. Also very close to the venetian.

Hotels comped free from last visit to Vegas.... that's pretty cheap.

as of yesterday they had rooms at $45 listed right on their website. Book there instead of Expedia as you can always call Harrahs right up to 72hrs before arrival and cancel or even take advantage of an even lower price. In the last 4 weeks the price at harrahs website has gone down from 79 to 59 and then this week to 45. If you book with Expedia they wont allow you to take advantage of any lower prices and you cannot cancel.

http://www.hotels.com still has rooms for Harrahs. Plus if you stay 3 or more nights and pay with a Mastercard, you get $25 back. I was going to stay at the Venetian, but Harrahs is right there, and for a total of $143 for 3 nights, which includes taxes, it was hard to pass up. Plus I've stayed at Venetian 3 times now and I wanted something different :)

mmmmm Harrah's... I'm staying there and I think todamnfly is staying there too. You can't beat $45/night @ a decent hotel in Vegas.

A few of us from Megapornbucks.com are staying at The Mirage across the street. Room rates are like $80.00 and the suites are decent.. plus the walk to the Venetian is nothing. :thumbsup

Harrahs was 39/night for the longest time! I have a promotion code for that price if anyone wants it

You can stay in a decent suite at the MGM for only $523.03 (3 nights) and they have like personal whirlpools and 2 bathrooms

my parents are staying at MGM in a basic room for about $300 for 4 nights during the convention.

It's about a ~mile from Circus/Circus to Venetian. For $29/night, shit hole or not, that's a great rate. See you at the Venetian:thumbsup

When staying at the Circus Circus.... check out the rotating bar that is in the area with all the games ... its trippy fun stuff.... and anyone that watched or read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas will remember what I am talking about.:thumbsup

Well just canceled my reservations at circus circus, got rooms at harrahs for $45 a night. I figure in cab far alone it would cost me more at circus.

Also check out Imperial Palace, it is a little shittier than Harrahs but it is right next to Harrah's and about a 3 minute walk to the Venetian. We got comped 3 nights and are staying a total of 5. My total was 85.14. Not bad for 5 nights.
