I'm a pretty big buyer on fiverr now, and I would say some people are starting to make some money selling, I've bought add-ons as high as $40, and the good providers get the gigs done quickly so they must be making a little bit of real money at least. I would think you need to get lots of customers, fast turn around, and expensive add-ons that people... but there's better ways to make money :)

iu saw someone extending dropbox accounts to the max 18gb with referalls, had over 300 in the queue, and is now completed for 3 days that aint bad.

Yeah both types of sites can be good. I know someone who was doing wordpress gigs on fiverr, and many of his clients liked his work so much that he would start working for them on odesk or elance for higher rates of pay.

That place annoys me. At least with Fiverr you're expecting to get something cheap, not paying expensive for something cheap.

A person has to be pretty fucking hard up to sell on fiverr. I feel sorry for the low-rent, ghetto motherfuckers who are struggling like that.

I would much rather see someone putting their skills to work to earn $5 than have them sitting on the couch bitching about the economy.

and most of the stuff they sell would take maybe 15 mins to complete, so around $20/hr, you aren't going to get rich selling on fiverr, but it's probably not a bad way to earn some easy beer money...

Sellers in the top spots seem to be selling their endorsement of your product for five dollars. Vids friendly for everyone to view, especially company websites.

It's $16 per hour after fees assuming there are 4 jobs done per hour. A person could make more money in an entry-level help desk job AND probably have some benefits as well. If selling on fiverr sounds like a good idea to you , shit isn't going well for you.

don't get me wrong, it's certainly not a career I would pursue, but for someone who is unable to find a job or wants to earn a few extra bucks part time it doesn't seem so bad...

It wasn't that long ago that fiverr announced their first $100k all time earner. So no, nobody is making big money there.

Exactly, everyone bitches because they can't get work then turn their noses up at something that will at least help them pay the bills because they're above it.

Like the old saying, got a site making $10 a day? replicate it 10 times, now you have 10 sites making $100/day, etc.

If someone is making $16 an hour and they were previously making $0 per hour then it's a good idea. I have plenty of friends and employees making less than $16 per hour. Not to mention its not only easier to get a job on fiverr than to find a job but they can work from home and make their own hours.

Just did a test order on Fiverr regarding the dropbox stuff, and seen how he does it and shouldn't be to complicated to replicate his system giving you $5 for pasting a link into a box and hitting a button. If you can market your gig pretty good, you'd bank on it.

Some people have extremely small minds and narrow ways of thinking. Fiverr is a fucking goldmine.

If I were in high school I would be using the site for lunch money for sure.

are you saying multiple accounts? Mutt already posted that they only recently had FIRST seler to reach 100k ALL TIME mark. So thats all time and only first.

$100k at $5 increments is a pretty good deal. How many sponsors have released that they had an affiliate hit the $100k mark with $25 pps?
