All the alternative information was gathered by Western journalists (mostly French). The official Putin's version says the "Kursk" has been destroyed by an internal explosion of its own torpedo during the tests. Ok, if that's true why all letters written by the crew to their wives and sons were censored? Only personal information (the farewell and last wishes) were delivered to their families. Everything else related to the catastrophe was removed. Why Putin did that if there was just a confirmation of the official version? The simple logic says it clear: the official version is a fake.

How does that prove in any way that US torpedo destroyed that sub? What evidence is there to support that conclusion? What would US achieve by that attack?

who knows what really happened? maybe 2 Russian subs were supposed to train by shooting "blank" torpedos at each other, but someone was too drunk and accidentally fired a "live" one? but really, the official version makes perfect sense, it's not like accidents like this are uncommon over there..

and how does this prove in any way that US was involved? I mean, not even "prove", but how does it even suggest that US could be involved... besides the usual: "something bad happened, lets blame the US"...

Even if that indeed is a torpedo hit, it's just as likely that another Russian submarine shot this one by mistake... which would explain why the Russian government would want to hide it...

Yea, I think the drunk Russian sailors shooting at each other with live torpedoes sounds more reliable than the U.S. doing it. After all weren't they supposedly doing just that as they were running practice drills with real torpedoes wernt they? Shit they probably shot themselves...

Or it could be that as typical, bad command decisions and shitty up keep of their equipment were to blame, which seems to be very common in the Russian military. I mean really since WW2 Russians have lost 8 nuclear subs.. They obviously are not very good with what ever it is they are doing..

This was an unofficial report... Which pretty much falls in line with typical Russian military fucks ups and some of their other sub sinking.. Ie bad command, bad training and bad maintenance.. The crew wasn't even trained how to use the torpedoes on the Kursk and were using a training manual for completely different torpedoes..

So what was that? A mole hole? Open your eyes man. The damage was taken from outside.
