What do you have for breakfast?

I usually have a bowl of cereal and juice or a Red Bull (I know, I know.)

Typically I will rotate between Raisin Bran and Cocoa Krispies but right now I am rotating between Total with Cranberries/Oat Clusters and Honey Nut Cheerios.

wyldblyss 03-07-2009 03:40 PM

I don't always eat breakfast but have been trying to correct that as I do believe its important. About the only cereal I eat is Raisin Bran and if I don't eat cereal I usually have fruit or a muffin.

cezam 03-07-2009 03:42 PM

coffee & cigarette :(

I have been lactose intolerant since I was 14. So I stopped eating cereal because of the milk... I always stayed away from the milk replacements, I guess I was skeptical. About a year and a half ago I tried the soy milk? it was okay but it tasted too "Sweet" to me for some reason. Then I realized there was lactose free milk and have been eating cereal ever since. Cereal is great!

Before that my breakfast was very simple... either an Apple, or a slice of toast, or a granola bar. I think my current routine is much more healthy and I have noticed the difference... stronger fingernails (from the milk) and better digestion (from the fiber.)

About 5-6 days a week I eat some blend of whole grain cereals (shredded wheat, raisin bran, all-bran, etc), and a coffee (or two, heh).

The other days out of the week I eat either peanut butter toast and coffee, or a full breakfast of scrambled eggs, snausages, and my signature spicey hash browns.

Once in a long while.... cold leftover pizza, which I have a weakness for.

mule 03-08-2009 07:23 AM

PSSuperstars 03-08-2009 10:33 AM

If you're trying to lose weight..
Having a breakfast shake that is 25-40g in protein each morning will help. It will stimulate your metabolism. When my weight comes down the easiest.. is when I'm doing a high protein breakfast.

I usually do two scoops of whey protein (raspberry lemonade flavor with other blood sugar levelling stuff in it.. like cinnamon and fish oil).... a cup of raspberries or black berries (low in sugar, high in fiber)... Then some other low sugar fruit... and blend... and it gets the day going great.

We have a big ass VitaMaster blender.. and can make anything. I need to get back to doing this.

Beaver Bob 03-08-2009 10:34 AM

a can of mtn dew and a spliff :)

Reak AGV 03-08-2009 10:38 AM

I rarely eat breakfast. If I do, its usually eggs or cereal with 2% milk and some juice, but that happens MAYBE once every 2 weeks.

GirlBri 03-08-2009 05:34 PM
