When do you wake up ?

I currently get up at 8 am, or a bit earlier if i wake up by myself and not by alarm clock. Thinking about moving alarm hour to earlier as they say how that makes you more productive so let see.

iwantfreedom 03-21-2021 02:54 PM

8am post covid, 0630am pre covid

Rochard 03-21-2021 03:51 PM

5:00am. Like clockwork. Every morning. The wife gets up to go to work, so I get up. I do some emails to make sure none of our customers in Europe are waiting for answers, work out, go for a run with the dog, shower, breakfast.... Maybe even run some errands before 9am.

Weekends are pretty much the same although I might sleep in till 8am.

adultchatpay 03-21-2021 04:25 PM

Around 5:30-6:00 AM, even when I slept late like 2am, or had a heavy drink the night before. Always same time no matter what.

EddyTheDog 03-21-2021 04:31 PM

My sleep pattern is a mess - I'll sleep for a few hours 2 or 3 times in any 24 hour period - I really need to sort it out...

SwoleOG 03-21-2021 05:43 PM

245 am every morning beside saturday 350 am go to gym
then shower, then look for property or work on sites

Tasty1 03-21-2021 10:44 PM

Between 11:00 and 14:00. Depends on location and time zone i am in. Sometimes there are periods i wake up around 7 when i stay in the jungle and it gets dark soon.

Biggie Smalls Web Writing 03-21-2021 11:01 PM

Between 5 and 6 am. Eat right after and do some work. Hit the gym around 8, then work until 5 or 6. Daily routine

Mr Pheer 03-22-2021 12:17 AM

Depends on when my parrot starts getting loud. He usually lets me sleep till mid afternoon.

Paul&John 03-22-2021 01:47 AM

Hopefully before 8AM, but sometimes only after 8AM :)

RyuLion 03-22-2021 04:27 AM

Different times depending if I have something I need to finish asap.
No alarm clock needed.

J. Falcon 03-22-2021 06:15 AM

My alarm is set for 6:45 for Mon - Fri

I might sleep until 7 or 8 on weekends.

trevesty 03-22-2021 06:25 AM

5:30-6AM like clock work. 6:30 is sleeping in for me.

davidCRM 03-22-2021 06:28 AM

Rochard 03-22-2021 10:05 AM

It's nice seeing so many of us are working out first thing in the morning...

Brian mike 03-22-2021 10:07 AM

( 3am - 5am Mountain time ) usually I'm in bed by 7pm - 9pm maximum.

Those hours will differ depending of the time zone of some of my contact i need to reach that day.

EX: If i need to reach on live chat my server admin 12AM to catch him online always worked :)

Every try Unisom? I can put down 7-10 hours a night when I take that. When I don't, I only seem to get 3-5 hours.

The Porn Nerd 03-22-2021 01:27 PM

I never wake up.
I don't wanna be woke!

ruff 03-22-2021 02:09 PM

I get a solid 7 hours every night and wake up at 5:30 am. Damn, when I was younger I could sleep way into the afternoon.

Tasty1 03-22-2021 03:50 PM

Waking up with an alarm, haven't done that for over 20 years. Only when needed maybe once every 2 months.

CurrentlySober 03-22-2021 04:50 PM

Usually its whenever my body is so desperate for alcohol, that I wake up briefly and swallow as much neat vodka as I can, before falling back unconscious again... Repeat ad nauseam...

Occasionally I will poost on GFY, while drinking in my chair, before I fall out of it and slump back onto the floor...

7 am every morning and I go to sleep at 11 pm!

Denny 03-23-2021 03:16 AM

Usually 7-8 AM.

Applebite Media 03-23-2021 05:54 AM

Up 3-4 times a night... Don't sleep well lately. Age maybe? It will be hard to get on a regular schedule again.

Clam 03-23-2021 08:02 AM

I stick to a strict sleep schedule. 8:30pm to 4:30am. I used to have horrible insomnia; I have been awake for three days at a time before.

OldJeff 03-23-2021 08:16 AM

Between 5 and 6 without an alarm, has been like that since 1983.

Sometimes I wish I could sleep more.

Seems like a lot of early risers here (which I understand is pretty common among successful entrepreneurs)

8 am because [insert vaguely insulting reason why waking up at this time is correlated to some pseudo-science about success or whatever].

HairyChick 03-23-2021 02:33 PM

If I sleep, I’m up at 2:00 am after two hours of sleep. I lost my sleep pattern years ago and now I can’t sleep.

I’m jealous of the folks who can sleep all night.

I'd lose my mind if I slept like that. How do people function on 2-3 hours of sleep? Do you feel like shit?

yuu.design 03-23-2021 05:50 PM

I do not have a fixed hour to wakeup, since every day have a diff batch of things to be done ( work and personal life ) so I try to don't have a structured time for wakeup. Some days earlier, some other days later

ilnjscb 03-23-2021 05:59 PM

4-5AM unless I'm in Asia, then I can actually sleep through the night - not sure why

baddog 03-23-2021 06:11 PM

Usually bed at 1, awake by 7:30

I have to get up at 4:30 tomorrow which should be interesting.

SBJ 03-23-2021 08:48 PM

damn no 3rd shifters anymore? I wake up when I wake up or when the Suns play. Most days around 7 - 10pm.

GAMEFINEST 03-23-2021 09:09 PM

I need at least 8 hours minimum

King Mark 03-23-2021 09:09 PM

I go to sleep whenever. But Im up no later than 7am no matter what. I got kids and off-line businesses. I aim for at least 6 hours sleep at some point within a 24 hour span.

Coffee. Lots of coffee.

Jazzix 03-23-2021 09:57 PM

My Chinese neighbors downstairs start chopping food at about 6.30 am

I think it's just normal for us. those with 'normative' sleeping behavior I can't understand, but do envy from time to time

tried unisom and all those over the counter pills (don't fuck with scrips) and they work...for a while. best was nyquil but I think that's just because dextro is fun

mostly I just blaze, stare at the ocean/read a good book till my eyes close. then a couple hours later and a cup of coffee it's back to work/life. which is functional; I get far more accomplished this way, but it would be nice (in the magical world where sleep isn't an often insurmountable effort) to feel well rested

me, Pam and Eddy can par together while y'all slumber =p

shake 03-24-2021 10:25 PM

Interesting to hear about people with trouble falling asleep, my problem is trying to stay awake. I can fall asleep almost instantly. Now I'm drinking coffee and redbull all day to try and stay awake. My kids get up and start running around the house at 7am so I'm always up then.

Scott McD 03-25-2021 12:13 AM

Without sleeping tablets, i don't know how to fall in to a natural sleep.

That's been over 5 years now...
