I will be mostly house hunting since our current house went on the market today. Oh the joys. Will be having some beers and watching F1 in between. But apart from that not a lot else. Probably get rid of some shit in here we won't need at our new property.

Trying not to get bitten by snakes. I've gotta clear about 1/4 acre of brambles thats been growing for 8 years.

The favourite place of our native venomous snake (Culebra bastarda) is brambles.
And the damn snake has bastard in it's name, you know it's a grumpy fucker.

I will be worrying about my doctors appointment on monday, where I find out if I have diabetes... :(

It's a holiday weekend here so I'm entitled. :winkwink:

When I was told I had diabetes the first thing I said was "Well... cancel christmas" The doctor gave a little chuckle and said it's not quite that dire.

It means lifestyle changes, lose weight, exercise more (I'll get on that someday) eat healthy, take your meds etc.

Doesn't mean you are going to die next year, just do what the doctors say, the best thing I did was to go see a Diabetic Nutritionist and learned about how diabetes works and how different foods have different effects on the body. :thumbsup

Above all eat in moderation. :disgust

But... you are going to badly miss the foods you just can't eat anymore. :Oh crap

Long weekend here in Canada. Rented a cottage about 2 hrs north of Toronto.

Going to go longboarding tonight. Just built a new setup so I'll be taking her on her maiden voyage. I do about 8-10 miles per night in the summer. Nice change from the usual. BBQ's and a couple of house parties to stop by with the woman.

Good stuff.

Years ago we used to go up to a buddy's cottage on Riley Lake (Washago)...north of Gravenhurst.

Black flies were brutal...but after the tenth beer they didn't seem so bad.

Fuck that. Pay the guy.

Branding a bunch of items for the Folsom St. Fair.

Yeah sometimes, I cut out all breads, fast food and sweets. I eat a lot of salads and starting to cook more at home. Haven't had any breads or sweets in 2 weeks now. Now the hard part, cutting out most of the drinking. I never drank a lot, but when your a big guy, you can have several cocktails and still be ok.

Spending time with the wife, seeing a movie, visiting friends, going to a BBQ, maybe take a little ride up to Santa Barbara with her.

I just bought myself a soccer game for my kid's XBox, discovered I can play online, maybe I'll get a chance to play it and get my ass kicked, we shall see

nothing much. saw acdc in town last night. probably just hang around the house, bbq, have a few drinks with family, friends the rest of the weekend.

Bought a new car almost 2 weeks ago and they called saying plates and 8 accessories I ordered are in so sounds like Saturday will be sitting at the car dealer for a few hours.

Been a busy week so have a lot of catching up on dumb everyday shit as well. So if I do find time for fun probably happen on Monday. :2 cents:

Been a hectic week, so working all weekend.

Researching the black gunk that has taken over the pool and then ignoring it and hoping it goes away on it's own...

The show was great, so was the venue. I saw them in Montreal in 2009 and they were great there too but the sound sucked at the Olympic Stadium. Here we had a brand new open air stadium.

Anyways, the guys are a bit older but still go like they always have. Angus never stops for the whole two hours. Brian can't hit the high notes anymore but overall, they still got it. I had 13th row on the floor, best show in ages. the crowd in Ottawa doesn't get into it as much as the crowd in Montreal though.

Well.. I hung out with them Thursday. :)
