We're hiring.......

Right now I have the following positions open. Basic pay + performance based benefits.

- Meda guy
1) editing/cutting/designing intro's & splash's for video content

- Monkey work
1) Data Entry
2) Writing (must be 100% fluent English & common u.s. slang) you will be working on all types of sites/writing, so I'm not going to characterize this as just "blog posts" etc.

- Customer service
1) via phone & e-mail for an up & coming pay site

The pay is very basic, no benefits & no vacation time. If you call in sick we want a doctors notice faxed to us.

These are positions for people who want to work.....not for people worried about when their next break is, or if they can get away calling in sick, or get off 3 days for a beach party.

If you're interested in performance based bonus's & a steady/reliable job that will be here no matter the outcome of the U.S. economic slowdown, then get in touch with me.

There is one way to contact my team. ICQ 440 887 ( download at www.icq.com )

I will then direct you to an e-mail where you can send me a small summary about your qualifications (or a simple resume)

Thats all for now kids...... :pimp

pr0 12-22-2008 01:25 AM

that's performance based bonus's by the way....not benefits

these bonus's start on your 3rd month as an employee & are strictly based on #'s/performance

Yeah a little bit extreme imo. Sounds more like a way to get the "slackers" to fuck off and not apply for the job...

OG LennyT 12-22-2008 01:55 AM

What do you put on your resume down the road? 2 years doing monkey work, data input and blog posts... LOL, how condescending.

CrazyHunk 12-22-2008 02:08 AM

I sent you an IM and waitin for your reply.

I'm not even really looking for employees who know how to use "condescending" in a sentence

so that should solve all those issues eh? :2 cents:

qxm 12-22-2008 02:21 AM

mmm I wonder what type of personality people who apply for "monkey work" have ...

In this economy lots of people are happy to have ANYTHING ending in "work".

I am here providing jobs.....I don't work for UNICEF or the Red Cross. I'm not a fucking charity. I am an honest employer, looking for honest/hard working employees.

I'm here offering finger/wrist shattering work for those who can put in an honest days work.

I am not here saying I am the best person to work for.....I am letting people know up front & publicly that I don't take any bullshit from slackers.

There is no break room & no latte's with extra foam. Just lots of mind numbing hard work that almost anyone could do.... for a meager pay.

But here is the golden filling to my offer......

(chance for major advancement into a much sweeter line of work, with much better pay)

Easy mon..easy.... I wasn't questioning the tasks assigned, employer or line of work.. I was referring to the choice of words when referring to a position that can be described as "data entry" as "monkey work" ... a lil inappropriate for a job offer but hey.......ur right.. given the current economy (I blame the tubes..lol) I guess there are people who can tolerate/ignore how others refer to them in exchange for a fair wage...

In all fairness.. that last offer is quite an incentive assuming someone could get some good SEO info as an added bonus....

Jack Sparrow 12-22-2008 03:25 AM

Sounds interesting, i love the doctorsfaxnotice thing, scares freeloading shits away that arent serious about the biz.. might apply ;)

ladida 12-22-2008 04:01 AM

No offence, but i love it when employers think the economy is bad, and they can push people around with "be happy you have a job". That's funny, but i was never "happy" to have a job, as i give to the job as much as i get out of it. It's a mutual relationship and the employer usually gets more then what he pays you (otherwise he wouldn't be employing you). I never had trouble getting a job, and finding normal people to work with. With the attitude you started the thread in "be happy you have a job", you'll only get people that tolerate that attitude, and those most of the times, aren't good employees anyway.

Good luck.

mmcfadden 12-22-2008 04:05 AM

if i could work out that icq thingy i'd be right on such an offer... do you also have a new years party?

Monkey, 2 years at xxxx corp

I have strong experience being your bitch and never questioning your bidding, working long hours for no vacation time and being an example for others who question your authority.
