I live in a small border town in Texas. Food banks are available, but only on certain days of the week and you have to apply and get approved. I am not sure about the church.

Couple of friends and I found ourselves homeless when we were about 15, figured out real fast good food is thrown away at most all restaurants. Today i could not imagine eating from a bin but when times are tough, no problem. Never once did we ask for anything. Good luck OP :thumbsup

next time you feel in need, go to your local supermarket and wait around the back when closing time. They throw all the last day products out, we see many people sometimes queuing here at around 10pm many times. Pleased the food is not binned :thumbsup

Wasting food like that should be forbidden.

How to get unlimited free McDonalds burgers: (At least it works for me)
