Body scanners coming to trains, subways and boats.
|
Probably much of the reason is business. If it's done only by the airlines many people will just avoid flying to the detriment of the airlines. But make it everywhere and people are more apt to accept it and it won't hurt the airlines as much.
|
all will be left to do next is to put body scanner outside each and every door

That will help get the life expectancies right down which will sort out the pensions crisis

I prefer to he frisked, and my balls fondled.
:2 cents: |
Wouldn't it be easier if we all just had RFID chips installed into our skin and it would tell on us if it could detect any explosive device? ;-)
Don't worry, give it a few years and the people will BEG for them if it will make their life more convenient and it will cut back on scanning and groping. Baby steps.... |

Like the article says, who has to board the train to blow it up when there is tens of thousands of miles of exposed track?
Plus, anyone can run a boat full of explosives into the side of a ship. Didn't USS Cole teach us that? This whole body scanner business is ridiculous. |
What company makes the body scanners? I want to buy it's stock

i think it's great that america's government is preparing for widespread social unrest because they are aware of and helpless to stop the economy from disintegrating, and doing it under the guise of anti-terrorism in order not to create too much panic.
when the shit hits the fan next year you will be happy a police state has been set up over the last decade in order to maintain order. |

If you created such a product, you would want to sell it everywhere as well.
What I don't like is that everything is sold on the basis of fear nowadays. |

In all reality, if some nut wants to commit mass murder, all they need to do is walk into a mall on a Saturday evening and detonate. Or worse, a school. What about blowing up the area outside security at the airport? Or a ball game? Or Sunday church? If you gave me 20 or 30 Jihadist ready to die for the cause, I could bring any nation to its knees within 2 weeks. All this leads me to believe there are only two options regarding all of this: 1) The terrorists are totally inept. 2) There is no such thing. Which is it? |
the two best emotions to illicit when trying to control a population is fear and anger and they are using them as best they can. The general American populace is fearful and mad... all the time now. I do not think that the Government is doing it intentionally to control us. I think they are doing it to appear pro-active and to win votes. But put someone in the white house with bad (good) intentions and a compliant or partner congress and it makes for an Orwellian scenario that can be logically imagined to the extreme. I am loathe to admit it but right now I am afraid of my Government as an individual

Wondering why Al Qaeda has never attacked Israel even though they supposedly have people working everywhere around it and have attacked pretty much every other country at least once. Isn't Israel their #1 enemy? Weird.

there is an old story about stalin stalin couldnt find his favourite pipe one day, so he told his internal security about it, and an official investigation was launched....well soon after Stalin found his pipe, he had put it in a different drawer then normal, so when he told his security about it...they replied, but sir...3 people have already confessed to the crime its coming...history is always repeated sadly |

All those crazy "conspiracy theorist" don't seem so crazy now do they? They have been warning of this for years.
Welcome to the New World Order bitches! For those who STILL can't see what's coming down, you will soon. :2 cents: |
I really don't see this happening in a metro. Do you have any idea the amount of people who use a metro/subway system everyday? the amount of time it would take to go through the scanners/body checks would be foooooking nuts.

sad thing is that brainwashed people who follow the government like sheep are all for it and are just digging their own graves with a big smile.

Welcome to the police state.

Didnt you guys see the coup?

..Just enough time to take the pre-written bill off the shelf, blow the dust off, and submit it to Congress. It's also incredibly coincidental how two of the Senators who attempted to slow passage of the bill, Patrick Leahy and Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, were targeted with letters containing weaponized anthrax delivered to their offices on October 9th. |
I would react. But i am afraid. I need an Esta travelform and when Big Brother reads this i am afraid i am not able to fly to the USA. I have visitied wikileaks.nl and i think they see all ip's that visited that site. When i fill in the ESTA forms they can connect both my ip numbers. I dont want a glass dildo in my ass so they can take a look if i smuggle or carry bombs. The company name 'RapeScan' sounds a little bit scary.
I have a laptop with me. Maybe wikileaks is in the explorer cache and than i will be prosecuted for traveling with classified documents. |
hmm i dont take boats, subways or trains lol
|
i heard sometime early next year they will also have these in grocery stores, malls and sports arenas.
By Oct 2011 they will make each American purchase one to put in your home to ensure you are not carrying any explosives devices into your car |

But it's getting to the point where it doesn't bother us any more. A shooter at a mall? Happens all the time. (Gunman set my local mall on fire last month and burned half of it down.) Gonna derail a train? These items might be in the news for a day or two, but otherwise no big deal already. Sad really. |
Pretty soon it will be malls and movie theaters....

Who needs phone sex lines and hookers? If I'm feeling frisky, I'm heading down to the nearest airport (or train station, subway, etc.), finding the hottest TSA screener, and having her feel me up for free. Pat me down please!
|
It sucks big time, it's good I'm not in US...
