Surely Google Books will be a success. They are on the most popular google.com domain name.

how every new thing they develop pulls info from my gmail or whatever is annoying and creepy and it killed buzz and most of their new launches.

They created a brand that means "search engine" in everyones mind across the globe and in almost every language spoken on the planet. You can't make it mean "books" without eventually undermining "search engine".

Another huge move from Google...

Google and amazon will probably fight over licenses because of this.
And I don't see many interesting titles on Google's version, whereas I can find everything on amazon.

seems foolish unless they could deliver them electronically...amazon will have them on that, and battle that front out with apple. google making its own reader?
