yes or no

Tempest 12-08-2010 08:11 PM

Hell yeah.. The "minimum" is just supposed to be for them to reduce their fraud and costs, NOT to be used as an excuse to rip you off.

papill0n 12-08-2010 08:24 PM

yeah of course

what shitty program is not doing so ?

Chris 12-08-2010 08:25 PM

I can think of a few who have done this to me - i saw the wegcash thread ( they dont owe me anything ) and it got me thinking about programs from a longgggg time ago that shut down that i had a couple sales in

Doug E 12-08-2010 08:26 PM

There's one this year I can think of that I`m pretty sure closed without paying out the below minimums. A well known figure on this board too. Not a nice practice in my opinion. But I guess when u fuck your business into the ground and have no money to pay out what can an affiliate expect. All one can do is remember for when they reopen the next one.

Agent 488 12-08-2010 09:09 PM

good luck with that. they are out of business because they have no money, how they going to pay you?

botfurom 12-08-2010 10:43 PM

It should be yes, but if they say they are bankrupt then you have nothing to do with it.

Sam - Mr. Skin 12-08-2010 10:51 PM

of course

blonda80 12-08-2010 11:09 PM

What He Said :2 cents: :pimp

GlazedMedia 12-09-2010 02:15 AM

Absolutely they should. Cannot think of a genuine reason why anyone would think otherwise.

Major (Tom) 12-09-2010 03:57 AM

If they closed? Hell yea
ds

2intense 12-09-2010 03:59 AM

of course

u-Bob 12-09-2010 04:18 AM

YES!

no doubt about it.

Chosen 12-09-2010 04:44 AM

Yes, of course.

ottopottomouse 12-09-2010 04:48 AM

Of course not. They need all the amounts below minimum to fund their closing down party.

tranza 12-09-2010 05:25 AM

One thing that I noticed yesterday, that REALLY pissed me off: I was checking all my sponsors to make sure I didn't have any payout option set as Epass, and I noticed that A LOT OF THEM raised the minimum payout from $50 to $200. I have over $1.5k stuck in different sponsors because I didn't reach the $200 minimum!!

seeandsee 12-09-2010 05:36 AM

Yes but if you have 2-3$ then you dont need payout :)

Kenny B! 12-09-2010 06:58 AM

Of course but let's be realistic most programs that close don't pay the people who have hit the min, let alone those who didn't.

AMEN :warning

Paul Markham 12-09-2010 07:29 AM

Many affiliates may have earned $1,000s and waiting for the next few sign ups to get to the minimum again to get a payout. And didn't expect the program to close.

Denny 12-09-2010 07:34 AM

yep, sure thing!!

TheLegacy 12-09-2010 07:55 AM

Simply put - a sale is a sale

If it came from your traffic then you should be paid for sending it no matter how small. Sadly though companies that go under realize that those who can and would sue them are the larger ones and if you have less than the min - it's simply not worth it and you'll write it off.

pornguy 12-09-2010 07:59 AM

Lots of shady programs that are still around. Sucks when they keep your money.

beks001 12-09-2010 08:36 AM

I vote yes.

Allison 12-09-2010 08:38 AM

It's probably too late once they've closed so it doesn't matter what you think they should do. You've agreed to their terms and conditions and there is probably nothing in there about having to pay minimums. The affiliates who were revshare are screwed the most. What happened to their rebills for life? And when a revshare only program closes, I don't get that at all. There's probably some risk there because there were probably some definite items in writing about lifetime payouts.

I don't believe any of these companies are bankrupt. They are just closing their operations because they don't want to put effort into something that is so little or is declining.

18teens 12-09-2010 09:07 AM

Hell yes but I've had quite a few that didn't.

kada 12-09-2010 10:23 AM

obviously.. it was earned

noticed that as well. most are now min 150-200 when they got rid of epass.
