Facebook have a lot of big plans so it doesnt surprise me if it carries a high value..

Verbal 12-17-2010 03:41 PM

Jesus, if Google is willing to fork over 6 billion for Groupon. On a side-note, I'd be really surprised if Facebook was still as popular 5 years from now.

BlackCrayon 12-17-2010 03:44 PM

but if everyone sold it would be worth nothing?

georgeyw 12-17-2010 03:45 PM

I still think zuck should have sold when he was offered the 1.5billion. Relax and enjoy the world in some serious luxury.

Last time I heard, he was offered 15 billion (by Microsoft). Take the money and run, for all I know. But he seems to think different.

Groupon and Twitter should have sold but Facebook, I can see why they are holding out. They have a chance to be absolute monsters and make that 15 billion look like chump change.

Got my dick hard for nothing. I thought some dude was selling 165K link shares at FB for $25 per blast

lolz

The beauty of the internet is, some unknown monster could show up next year and push FB to the side the same way FB did to MySpace. Or not and FB rules supreme until the end of the internet.

Anything can happen.

and they are not alone, hotbot, altavista, yahoo, etc all are either out of business or are a sinking ship... and dozens of other that everyone already has forgotten about...

not many internet companies from 10 years ago survived to this day... :2 cents:

Won't let me post a link, since I have under 30 posts. But google the thread title and you will find the article.
