New & Lost in the Woods

I have a few sex domains, but am still working on getting those up & need to figure out how to get them traffic.
I also have 2 mainstream sites that are getting little traffic., so my affiliate income has been zero. Both sites are informational directories for specific audiences. I have about 30 other domains I want to develop, but until I get something producing income, why bother. I do realize my sites look like crap and am going to hire out someone to re-design the sites and someone who better at coding than I am.
But better sites still won't pull in traffic. I need to learn something better than pay one of those gurus who claim to know the secrets of SEO or will sell me traffic.
Currently, the affiliate ads I have on the sites are themed to the sites, but I'm leaning toward finding a great salesman who can sell ads on the sites. Problem is I don't know how to price the ads, especially since the sites are getting so little traffic.
Thanks for any help.

The big secret is unique and quality content.. oh yeah it also helps if your site has been around for more than a decade and still going strong.

Good luck

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I'm under the gun, thanks to a GFY troll, I met offline and put my few eggs (my time & poor skills), in his basket & supposed skill he claimed. Year later, I'm cash-flowed out, with 60 XXX & mainstream domains, doing nothing. I have the ideas, need ideas from someone with better CSS & traffic skills. & worst. Late to the dance. As You know, finding good domain names is Hell.

Ofcourse you can also start learning some html, css , and database creation.
Now with the css3 standards you can make very nice looking sites, without puting complex graphics in that slows down your sites. Some believe that the search engines rank higher fast loading sites which depends on the server and the site pic load.

In the long run making a site by your own will save you money , and believe me feeling is very nice when you making something with your own hands and mind.

Wish you the best :)
