Eset, Stopzilla working great. :2 cents:

rogueteens 01-24-2011 07:33 PM

AVG has gone to pot a bit lately, Avast is your best bet now.

This. I used to use AVG but switched to Avast, and Malware is great in case you actually do get infected. I haven't had a virus for years but I always seem to be cleaning up other people's PCs.

woj 01-24-2011 08:35 PM

avira is pretty good too :thumbsup

Spunky 01-24-2011 08:40 PM

Give him the Kaspersky!

$5 submissions 01-24-2011 08:41 PM

Dude, you used "Free" and "antivirus" in the same breath. Don't do it. Use kaspersky or eset.

Why? I've been a crash test dummy for Microsoft Security essentials long enough. No good. AVG? The steam that rises from fresh poop is more valuable.

idtapdat 01-24-2011 08:44 PM

check out malwarebytes works great..

QFFT :thumbsup

I install Avast on all machines I build for sale, as well as install it on about 75% of the machines that I clean/repair that have some form of Nortons, McAfee, or AVG on them to begin with!

kevlar1080 01-25-2011 12:13 AM

IOBit Security 360 does the trick for me

bDok 01-25-2011 12:50 AM

just install microsofts free one.

MK Ultra 01-25-2011 07:26 AM

Another vote for Avast, they finally enabled the boot-scan for 64 bit windows :thumbsup

pornguy 01-25-2011 07:28 AM

Avast has a free one for 18 months at a time and then it pops a box asking for name and email and its renewed.

DiF0r 01-25-2011 07:57 AM

I'm using avast

seeandsee 01-25-2011 08:08 AM

bloggerz 01-25-2011 08:21 AM

maxxtro 01-25-2011 08:24 AM
