Is the Economy Affecting Porn?
 

I was just talking to a couple of friends whom I believe to be credible sources or at least have their ears closer to the train tracks than mine when it comes to this business, and they opined that porn is a tough business to get into today. They said that many affiliate sites are folding, webmasters aren't getting paid. Is that true?

I think with the economy still in the dumps it is tough, but now with things like google "tweaking" their systems turning SEO on it's head there is a shot. It just takes lots of hard work and that whole set it and forget it/work 1 hour a week never really paid anyways... nose to the grind it seems.

The dynamics are only changing. Don't shy away from the game just yet. Porn is akin to world's oldest profession and there will always be money to be made from it. Adapt and overcome.
