Anyone use a flip video camera?

I'm going to get a little video camera for Briana to carry with her when she's out doing stuff to add to the website, anyone use it and hows the quality? Easy to use?
Figured her fans would love to see that kinda stuff!

Very easy to use and the quality is better than you would expect. The files are mp4. Mine is excellent in low light. I have the Mino HD. You can get almost two hours with the memory and battery. I carry mine everywhere I go waiting for that YouTube moment.

That MinoHD looks cool, it's thinner, they have it on tigerdirect for $159.95

I guess they're OK, but I don't even use mine anymore -- my Droid does the job, at least in standard def.

flip video cameras are fun

Gisele and Carmen use them for their sites and the users LOVE it and enjoy the peek into their "real" lives. We get constant requests for more.

flip is great got the wife a SD and my biz partner has an HD. both easy to use and even the SD takes a decent image in low light. only thing i didn't like was the built in file management but thats just me being a file nazi and was easy to get around

Yeah I have a feeling that Briana's fans are going to love this addition, I'm going to buy it today and get it shipped to her directly.

Based on the 2 camera comparison test above, this one is the winner, and only $89.00...

I looked at the Kodak and what really stuck out is that it's waterproof to 10ft, that means Briana by the pool underwater, hehehe. I also like that it uses a SD card, so I can get her a couple cards and she can just swap them out on a busy day if it's full. I love that it's a little more stylish, but the biggest concern, the picture is great and the screen filter is a nice touch. I sent an email to Briana and I'll buy what she picks today, thanx everyone for the input!!!

BFT3K 02-23-2011 09:35 AM

The Kodak Zi8 has better picture quality than the Kodak PlaySport ZX3.

If you think the waterproof aspect is important though, then I guess it's worth the extra money and lower quality video...

Stopped using mine when I got an iphone... not the same quality but good enough for me. No one wants to see my naked ass on a website so the low quality iphone videos do JJUUUST fine! ;-)
