Need a mobile compatible mp4 re-encoding script
I loaded a bunch of mp4 videos on my server that I encoded using Wondershare Video Converter's iPhone profile. Unfortunately I must have done something wrong because the mp4 files are not playing on iPhone.
Now I have over 500 mp4 videos to re-encode :Oh crap I need someone to code a script to encode those videos on the server directly so I don't have to do it on my PC and upload all those videos again. I'm using Carma CMS from TooMuchMedia and all the videos are in different folders in the server so I need a tool I could access from a web page to enter the path of the videos to re-encode and save it in the same folder. Is there a reliable programmer that could help me with this?? |
Videos could be encoded correctly... could just be an issue w/ streaming on your server (or its not setup). You can't just toss up an mp4 on the web and stream it.

we built that exact tool for WordPress and we can adapt it to work as standalone, if you're interested just send me a message using the contact form on my site :)

if the videos are already on your server, you could issue a simple ffmpeg command to reencode the videos

ffmpeg can do it, hit me up ill give you command line
|
That's strange because I encode with wondershare a lot and the iPhone option works fine... Got to be H.264 though....
Hit me up if you want me to make you a script to find your mp4s and re-encode them with ffmpeg |
