Man Pays $900 to Be First in Line for iPad 2, Joins Long Line of Apple Over-Spenders
 

Hazem Sayed paid $900 to college student Amanda Foote for the first spot in line to buy the new iPad 2 at Apple's flagship store in Manhattan.

Over-spenders? Last I checked no other company has been able to come close to the price + specs of the iPad 2 or even the original iPad.

-RIM has yet to deliver
-HP has yet to deliver
-The XOOM came in at a hefty $800+ dollars and their Wifi version isn't going to come witin $100 of the entry level iPad. Not to mention the iPad BLEW THE XOOM out of the water in recent benchmark tests
-Samsung admitted that their 10" Galaxy tab is nowhere close to the iPad 2 in specs or pricing and they might need to go back to the drawing board.

Overspending. Haha. Right.
