pc and websites are old hat. long live interactive screens
 

very soon websites will be not used much. the way newsgroups are not used a lot.

this is going to be as people move from being conected using a pc to using such as ipads.

the app will simply take over websites.

we have seen this with facebook. many people ONLY have facebook now as an app on there phone or ipad. and as time goes on it will be an app on your tv.

we see more and more games that conect via the internet.

many of us use skype, icq and so on.

while we think we use websites, we in fact use them less and less.

unless you need a pc say for photo editing or somthing like that, the biulk of people will use ipads or such like for the net.

so while we may think sex.com is great, very soon it will have no value.

we now see most web use limited to facebook, twitter and youtube. these are often better as aps.

even i have found such as ebay works much easer as an app.

on mobile phones serfing the web sucks. but website apps are so much better. they load quick and often have more functions.

websites are limited to just clicking links.

apps alow you to touch, move, alter using a touch screen. and so much more power with gps and other clever stuff built into the phone or pad, making far more possibilities.

websites will not die but will be the same as newsgroups.

kids today are now using apps for there net use. websites for them are looking old.

the question is, how can porn transfer from website to app?

could the app save porn? after all your not limited to using files dictated to by say html (such as flash, windows media and so on). There is no reason why your films could not be in a new format thgat only that app reads. in other words the surfer can only watch your films on your app. mabe not even able to save to stream. it could make pirating almost imposible as it could be no softwear couid read the film file.

mabe affiliates model will change from promoting websites to selling apps. as in becoming an app store.

Get a better phone. The internet is fine on mine.

I wonder what it's like to be a mental midget. Tell us what it's like, DVTimes. Really, how do you get through the day without accidentally killing yourself in a folding chair accident. Is it hard for you to walk and chew gum at the same time?

DVTimes, do you ever get any work done ? Or do you just dribble over your keyboard while typing up some new big idea on GFY ?

Regular computers and websites will be around for a looooong time.
I get frustrated when I surf on a cellphone or my netbook, a regular PC is the only thing I can be really productive with.

well all these apps have websites too. i'm not too worried.

websites are gonna stay here for a long time.,
only things are changing are , big screens, higher cpu, wireless kb and mouse, media centre box with external hdd, this is the future or maybe present.
