Sending Special Thanks to Dr. Wicks
 

It is with much regret that I have accepted the resignation of Douglas Wicks, Ph.D., VP of Sales for CCBill and Cavecreek Web Hosting, effective Wednesday, April 6, 2011.

Since joining our staff in 1999, Doug has been a trusted and valued member of the team and I know he has been an excellent business partner to many of you over the course of the past 12 years. He is a well-respected and highly collaborative individual and I hope you join me in wishing Doug the best of luck in his new business ventures.

I have no doubt he will continue to succeed, and I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Doug for his outstanding service, hard work, and loyalty to the organization.

I couldn't have worked for a better company or better boss(es) these past 12 years. You, Frank, JoAnn and Steph have been like family and what a lucky person I have been. I have also had the great fortune of being surrounded by such quality people starting with the entire sales crew. I will certainly miss you all as well as the whole CCBill family.

To my clients and friends, It has been a pleasure and priveledge working with you. there have been so many great times that I can't even begin to recount them all but please know that I am thinking of you and wishing you much success. Also know that your accounts are in great hands with the likes of Jeff, Sean, Andy and Gary.

And now on with a new chapter. I hope our paths cross down the road. I promised Ed and Benny that I would make it to Oktoberfest so I am sure I will see some of you there :-)

You are one of the most selfless, giving individuals I have had the pleasure to know and call a friend. I am sure as Ron said, whatever you do, or wherever you land, you will do a fantastic job. Any company would be lucky to have you in their employ.

I also want to thank you for everything you did for me during Oktoberfest when I broke my ankle. I will never forget and am forever indebted to you.

I wish you well in everything the future has to bring and look forward to a continued working relationship one way or another.

Doug, I finally got to meet you at TPF during the Cybersocket party. Even in those few moments you made a great impression on me. So this is a bit of a let down for me, but obviously understandable.

I wish you the best in your future endeavors and hopefully we'll get a chance to work together.

Though we hung out only a few times I was always impressed with the level of professionalism that you brought to the table. Discussion with you have been truly inspiring at times. You will be missed but I look forward to hearing about where you go from here when the time comes.
