Webmaster referrals and/or contacts for...

I've noticed several programs that give links to refer other webmasters to their program, but nowhere does it say what the incentive is. I've tried contacting the programs to get an answer but haven't heard back, so was wondering if anyone had any insight and/or contact info to get it straight from the source.

AdultPlatform (VideoBox)
Tried [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected], [email protected]

PlatinumBucks
Tried form-mail and [email protected].

CECash and CashTraffic
Sent email early this morning to [email protected] and [email protected].

Thanks,
newB

the biggest issue with referring people...is your accounts get somehow switched into one of their useless reps names

magically
ce is on the ball..adam should be your man

Many bypass your referral link

You mean a program will eliminate the referring affiliate completely?

Yeah, I've noticed some affiliate reps with their own personal affiliate codes. Seems like a conflict of interest if their main job function is to work with affiliates.

As I said, I just sent the CECash/CashTraffic guys an email this morning, so I'm hoping to hear back soon, but threw it out there in case anyone here had the answer.

AdultPlatform/VideoBox seem to be particularly hard to contact, which makes me question if I care to promote them whatsoever.

This is true, particularly here where the more experienced webmasters are a bit jaded. I've never gotten a single referral from the "Spam me with..." threads yet my relatively new affiliate review site/blog has already gotten me quite a few.

Thanks. Any idea of who his replacement is?

In most cases I dont think there is any conflict of interest. Many affiliate reps have an id for tracking purposes. It is one method of checking productivity. When I use my ID that is the sole purpose of doing it. It might work out differently for those who are commission based though

i state mine pretty damn clear - 15% ref for the life of the webmaster

One thing that annoys me is when there's a preset CCBILL affiliate id in a sponsor's promo tools section rather than an XXXXXXX or just nothing at all.

That is a perfectly valid point and reason I had not considered. Please forgive me. However, that is dependent on the reps 1) Not being eligible for referrals or 2) Being honest - an increasingly rare trait in the current climate to be sure.

i have lots of refs. with one program but for some reason i see only 7 (there was lot more, and then just one day stucked at 7)! I asked them why is stucked and they can't FIX IT for years, they say it's error but don't worry all is counted, now when i hear "missing refs casses" i must ask (how is that hard to do?) ?!?! what is going on there, experts opinion please?

I had 300$ month in most active period there, and suddenly that happened (error but all is ok :) ) and revenue droped to 5-10$ per month and i still can't see all refs (22) just 7!

I checked alltime stats and i see 22, so NATS experts, how is hard to see all refs in ref. stats area and not 7 instead 22? :)

Main reason asking is because revenue is not showed in all-stats just in ref.stat section, so that 15 refs. missing, where are they?

Thanks all

Got in touch with Adam at CashTraffic a couple of days ago and Chris at PlatinumBucks yesterday - referrals for both programs are 5% if anyone is interested. Called AdultPlatform company (Meta Interfaces LLC) yesterday and was told "if there has been no response, then they don't care to reply." So, links pulled - there are too many programs available to put up with that kind of crap.

I'm about halfway through the programs I'm already an affiliate for and after that I will be looking to signup for more. I'm signing up for programs recommended through my Webmaster Referrals page as I go, but after I'm caught up I will turn to this thread first.

Keep in mind, I'm telling it like it is - not what it was a year ago, and not what it could be. If you have feeds that haven't been updated since 2009 but your tour pages say they are updated daily I'm going to point that out. I try to be fair, but if your program sucks and you don't want someone pointing that out (see Dollars4Babes as an example), you may want to keep it to yourself.

Try VideoBox here, seem to get really quick responses.
