Good. The world is not a game of Pac-Man

I like how you say "Christ we'd never hear the end of it." lol the irony
The French are really just being the fashion police. Those things look terrible on models walking down the runway. :1orglaugh |
too late
|
I'm all for it but if we ban burqas then we'd have to ban yarmukels, and those stupid "jesus saves" trucker hats too.
|
It most states it is illegal to cover your face in an attempt to hide your identity. Its not something thats enforced normally but its there.

BTW it pretty disgusting to me to cripple a womans identity that much :2 cents: |
Yes, it is great! Next step would be to make them wear yellow badges...
|
I bet if a black guy walked into a liquor store with one of those on he wouldn't be excused for "religious freedom." :1orglaugh
|
Thailand has a bunch of people (not muslim) who wear full face coverage because its so hot outside and having dark skin is not good here.
Its also the perfect way to stab someone. |
I used to live in France, and remember talking with an old lady that was very worried that they were "giving away the country" by letting so many immigrants into the country, that had no identity with the country: ie muslims and africans.
I think her fears are coming true and the burqua ban is totally acceptable. There are many ways to preserve your way of life and fight for your freedom, not all of them are done on battlefield. |

oh... and ship em off to some ghettos too, so they do not pollute our superior culture further. then we'll figure out a final solution. i was thinking of a camp of some sort..? not sure this had been done before, so any ideas guys? logistics might be a problem, but i was thinking like cattle wagons.
anyway... i will be holding a conference about this in Wannsee, Berlin later this year, anyone want to come? |

BTW, you just invoked Godwin's law. :1orglaugh |
I'd like to note that many of them, even when flying and crossing international borders, do not have to show their face.
Huge security leak. Fuck 'em, show your face like everyone else or get the fuck out. If you are unwilling to show your face, see ya. |

About 2% of Europe?s population is Muslim. And most of those ARE Europeans. They are as much immigrants to Europe as Germans or French. But I really don?t expect you to understand that. Your Hitler jugend education is strong. |
I agree with the French authorities. :2 cents:
If a woman goes to their countries they're obliged to cover parts of their bodies and in the most extreme cases the face. That's just archaic. |

i think it would be funny to ban immigration from third world countries for a decade or so and just see what happens. it would be an interesting social experiment.
|
you make a joke about their religion, they want to kill you, but they cannot respect your own laws ... we all see who we are dealing with ... :Oh crap

it is illegal in most places to hide your face.
Try putting on a "scream" mask and walking into any police station, the will arrest you if you don't take it off. |
they need to arrest the French women with hairy pits and legs too
|

By the way, France, banning veils is not going to stop your immigration problem. Next the United States will be banning refried beans! |
Obey the laws of the country your in. In some countries you can't hold hands or kiss in public, and you had better believe it that they will arrest you.
|
i agree with them, i have ninjas driving around in my neighbourhood,
there is no way they can see properly. who knows what they are carrying underneath the wizard robes, or if they are even female. i dare anyone on here to dress up as a ninja and walk into a bank then decide if it is fair that because someone is muslim they get to live outside of the rest of society's rules |

There are tons of Muslims living and integrating themselves in modernity. In fact, from what I read this Burqa law in France will only effect a few thousand women so it's just a stupid law meant to grab votes. But ignorance is bliss, right? |
Good job.
Go to any islamic country, take of your shirt and leave your shoes on and step into a mosque and see what happens. Get a girl to bath topless there, and see what happens. Arrestinh them is s nice thing compared to what some of those countries would do.. |
Well done to France first of all for the ban!
The UK would never have to balls to even consider it. In shopping malls, airports, theme parks here you see loads of people covered up in those stupid burkas. I remember being at the airport once and they wouldn't let me through unless i took off my baseball cap. Yet those assholes just breezed through as usual. So fuck them! If they don't like the ban, leave the country. Should never have been allowed in the first place. Let's see who is next to ban them. It won't be the UK anyway... |

American & British tourists have been ARRESTED AND JAILED many times for kissing in public in Dubai - the most lenient of the UAE.
I have no problem with what the French are doing. Goto a Middle Eastern country with a woman wearing shorts and a t-shirt, see what happens ;) I had a friend visiting the Middle East with family and she was forced to fully cover up and her parents were offered multiple times, by multiple men, any number of HORSES in turn for her hand in marriage. She has blond hair and blue eyes. She was 16 at the time. Yes these are the people you are dealing with. |

they are just messing around.... even few years back traveling with a friend in North Africa local fags would offer us horses/camels.. It's like an asian bar girl calling someone handsome man, doesn't mean shit :2 cents: |
I've always been for equality and sadly this isn't one of the situations.
They demand religious freedom when visiting or living here - but refuse to offer the same in their home country. Just should be a standard rule - you want to visit or live in a country then abide by the laws of that country |

How do you take being arrested and jailed for kissing in public with a grain of salt? Just a joke the locals play on Western foreigners? :error Also my best friend growing up was an immigrant from Iran. His family and their Iranian friends were warm and wonderful people. They've taught me a lot about their culture and told me many stories. They left for a reason and the wife was beautiful and happy not to be forced to cover up all in black and wear a veil ;) |

I quoted your story about a friend being offered horses. Don't remember making a comment about anything else. Personally I dislike the whole of the UAE , Dubai included. not only because it is muslim but because it is a fascist society, where immigrants (not only women) live in slavery. |
