Tubes-how many clips on first page?
 

I use sponsor hosted clips, and I was wondering if it is best to keep surfers on the page with lots of clips, having them scroll down wth diffrent ads on display (what I am currently doing), or maybe keep the clips to a minimum.

Get rid of "Featured Videos" and the Ammount of Clips on your Mainpage is ok :)

Red everywhere

Get rid of those big ads. Grow the site and put later some (bigger) ads on it.
Your site looks horrible, but that's my opinion though.

My site isn't a tube site, but... I have found that my "join" numbers seem to go up when I keep my first "content" page long with a lot of content.... as opposed to splitting up my content across multiple "next" pages... having said that, I think the amount of content you are showing on the page looks good...

As far as how you page looks... there does seem to be a lot of red... maybe too much... but to call it horrible... nah... looks good to me. :-)

I appreciate the feedback. I did get rid of the featured videos, and one of the sidebar ads.

About the red: It did have a more neutral looking theme previously, but I decided the red and black gave it a more balzy bold look. Whether that translates into $, we'll see. My thinking is that it catches the eye, and a surfer is more likely to click on something than to go somewhere else.
