What the fuck is linkspun???
 

Hey all,

Programming, design, hardware, general tech etc I can do with my eyes closed and have been for many years but this whole traffic sharing, backlink malarkey has got my head spining. I have been reading articles on here and while my knowledge is improving I'm still a little lost on certain things. Linkspun has been recommended a few times so I have joined up but really have no clue what its all about.

So, can someone explain what it is? Please explain as if you were talking to a dim wit who was dropped on his head a few times as a child. Then dumb it down a little more as if he were repeatedly hitting himself over the head with a hammer as you explain, loosing IQ with each successive whack. I just might get it then.

I'm brand new to it so my explanation probably won't be the best but maybe it's no more complex than what I'm about to tell you.

Since (as you mentioned) quality, relevant backlinks are necessary towards being appreciated by Google and success in general, working towards getting a decent Page Rank, Linkspun is a well known just a place where people enter all their Domain URLs and simply Trade Links to each others pages towards the purpose of SEO.

So its a network of webmasters and their websites for trading hard links and the concept is actually very simple and its very easy to use... As to whether it works or not... I don't know, but I have been able to get 2 niche backlinks already that I normally would have had to pay for...so I'm happy.

How it works: Enter all your web sites, browse the network, find site(s) you want to trade with, propose a link exchange, add the requested HTML code for their link < a href="yoursite(.)com">Your Site's Name< /a> wherever you desire and once both parties approve and all links are posted, the trade is officially activated.

I kinda figured he wanted an answer like the more links that your site has linked to it the better the PR and the better Google likes you and sends you more traffic, Linkspun helps with that?

But I don't find any good PR page for tit, ass (ahh they are life)

PR4 - I have a site that is PR4 that gets 100-200 visits a day, so PR doesn't mean visits. Its very hard to find quality back links because of this. The site is non-pornographic and so I don't list it here.

Be warned than since it's free, it's full of garbage link traders/spammers. You really have to be careful to find a good trade on there. Do not be shy about denying trades because you're going to be doing a lot of that.
