this is an interesting read on the feds busting local steroid dealer and then getting him to give info on a supplier who then gives info etc.

the main supplier made the mistake of falling for a credit card processing set up scheme by the US feds and made the bigger mistake of meeting them in Cyprus where the undercover agents made the arrest
