Lap. He ran out on the last lap. Rounds are for boxers and buying drinks in bars. :2 cents:

You need to brush up on your redneck.

NASCAR = liquored up rednecks + go fast as you possibly can + turn left at every possible chance
Pure racing talent ..................... :2 cents:

I was hoping jr would take the checkered but deep down I had a feeling he wouldnt. That race sucked hard until the last 100 miles. When they started getting serious about position and taking chances. So 500 miles of mind bending boredom as they played it safe

side note: did anyone notice Mike Bliss's #32 car? Had blu cigs as a sponsor, very cool :) and actually got a decent amount of air time considering he ended the race down 35 laps LOL

In the NASCAR race the #88 team had calculated their fuel milage to be just a few laps short so the driver tried to save as much fuel as he could. They had to make a choice. Come in to the pits for a splash of gas that would've dropped him back in the field with no chance of winning or taking a chance at the win by staying out on the track. As it turned out he was just short about the length of the front straight from winning and still got a 7th place finish. Neither the crew chief or driver were mad with the decision not to pit for gas. They were disappointed because they missed it by such a narrow margin. It also made for a great finish.

BTW, that JR. guy made an estimated 29 million USD last year but was probably much more because not all of his income has been made public.

Not a bad paycheck doing what you want in life.

I'd think anyone that can accomplish that would have to be talented or smart or both.
