Shaves/i'm a surfer/no way/ ass is hurting....
Ok let's say that you always have (for a couple of months, close to a year) good signup ratios in the beginning of the month and then it slows down and it picks up. Always the same patern (so obvious) or, if you would get 10 signups/day for 4 days and then nothing for 4 days and then it picks up again. Would you go hummmmm ????
On the affiliate side for this matter, sponsor using Nats by the way. |
Nats = No Shave. Right?

Thanks for the hot tips top notch.

If you were to ask me to many webmasters are placing a whole lot of trust in programs and the systems programs run on these days are overly complex. Some less experienced programs believe that when they jump on board with an advanced affiliate script that the big bucks start rolling in and thats just not true.
They can be manipulated, they HAVE been manipulated and certainly are overly complex from controlling the exit consoles to trading traffic to intertwining cross sales and in some cases abused to the full hilt of functionality. I think programs are more interested in trading with each other than doing actual business with the affiliates. I feel for the webmasters not educated about these sort of things, they depend on the stats of a system that does not belong to them, they do not track there own hits out. Maybe I am old fasioned but some of the best programs for me do not use any sick geared shit, they use straight up CCBILL or longterm based processor and to me it is an absolute bonus. I would rather trust the processor stats ( whom are betting on me to get a sale ) VS a system that uses several of them under the guise of declines and attempts for other means of processor then sending me the sale. I just do not trust people these days I guess so I limit myself to what I know and do what I can to leave unknown factors out:/ Me and SDA are now working together I am pretty sure we will never upgrade to NATS or MPA or anything and just stick to the basics of Business of shared opportunity with affiliates and our own inhouse marketing that we do. I am not impressed with the opportunity of cross sales, I am not impressed with the idea of pop consoles and crap. If you do not convert you get the traffic back, no page jacking or leaks. |

like AlienQ said, you can only trust a biller-based affiliate system. they are never going to delay your checks or shave your clicks. |

I'm not telling that you can easily shave with NATS, but I'm sure every script can be tricked one way or another. |

when you deal with smaller numbers use your weekly or monthly average and then see how you do from month to month. When you not sending a lot of sales some days you will get 4 signups, some days 0. But when you look at your signup total for the month vs other months they should be pretty close assuming your traffic amount/source remained equal. Too many people try to compare sales by the day when they simply get too few sales. Like someone who sends 50 signups a day wonders why 1 hour he can have 5 signups and then he can go 3 hours with none. Same exact thing. small numbers = longer period of time to get a true average. don't micro watch stats with small numbers. will drive you crazy. |
I have the same issue, 1-2 sales a day almost wiht a program,a nd then 3 weeks with no sales. No drop in traffic, same ultra targetted traffic, and same amount of free signups.
It's happened with two dating sponsors so far. |
For what it's worth, it's simple to shave using ccbill programs too. If you don't trust the company, don't send them traffic :2 cents:
