i would rate it as one of the great horror comedies of all time and return of the living dead 2 as one of the worst. they really screwed the pooch on the sequel.

I want to watch it, but I can't afford to rent it.

Move to the UK, and get 'SKY TV'...

They show it a lot in HD !

i mean look at the people involved with the film-
written by dan o'bannon...fuck yes, wrote Alien, Darkstar etc.
starring Clu Gulager, James Karen and Don Calfa in a comedy acting tour de force only rivaled by Hal Holbrook, Leslie Nielson and Fritz Weaver in Romero's Creepshow.

i met O'bannon at a party once in the 80's in L.A. and accused him of ripping off Alien from It! The Terror From Beyond Space (which he was sued for but he won) and he wasn't very pleased i mentioned it.

that is probably the hottest punk-goth scene ever, she really gets into it my only complaint is it should have been longer! not to mention the soundtrack with The Cramps, 45 Grave etc is really great.

I have a copy of it on VHS somewhere in the attic, but no VHS player to watch it on.

I remember seeing it when i was like 10 and it scared the crap out of me giving me nightmare for days.

Then i say when i got older, laughed my ass off and can't understand what was so scary the 1st time, lol

The part when that zombie with the funny eyes says "BRAINSSSS!!" always makes me laugh lol

lol exactly the same as me, dunno why it scared the hell out of me when I was a kid.

The zombie lady that was cut in half tied to the table going 'brains, brains, brains, brains" always has me laughing.

When I was little that really freaked me out lol
